Thanks. It appears all the non-sports bands use the silver toned hardware. Do you think the black Milanese Loop band would look bad with the gold aluminum?

I think the black would look fine, but also the gold milanese band would look pretty also..https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016QBOZES/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Some of the third party bands match the hardware...casetify does..https://www.casetify.com/apple-watch-bands

If you can't find the hardware match, I think the matt black hardware matches well, as it matches the black watch face.

YES! That band on Amazon is very nice (nice price too). I'm ordering it.

edited: It only comes in the larger size. Not the 38mm. I'll keep looking.

Got ya, just wondering. I might have to buy the owl print one.
I got mine on eBay. Just FYI I have kinda big wrists (I wear the Apple m/l sport band on the third hole) and the one I got was one size and I have to wear it on the last hole. There are bands on Amazon that have two sizes that would of been better (for me anyway). :)

So you would say the bands run on the smaller size? That's fine I have tiny wrists. I wear my sport bands with the S/M attachment. Thank you for being so informative!

Yea they seem to when they only come in one size... Sounds like it would be ok for you though :)

Just received a pretty bangle off eBay that looks great with the apple watch..Came from china...very inexpensive, but who knows how long the finish will last. I'm enjoying it for now though. :) IMG_8148.JPG

The owl print one is so cute. Where did you get it from?
I bought one on eBay but it was a little small so I ended up giving it to my mom and buying another one on Amazon. Unfortunately both are out of stock right now but there are other sellers that have the same print, just search for owl apple watch band ;)

Nice seeing all the bands people are getting. I got my watch on Friday and I ordered a few bands from Apple that will be here today, Saturday. I like some of the printed bands that I saw a few posts up, will have to go check those out.

Thanks for all the ideas ladies!

Posting here since it's where all the Apple watch ladies are. :)

I have an original Apple watch and a few bands (although I almost always wear the white sport band). I'm planning on ordering a new Series 3, but I'm debating a switch up to the 42mm. I don't really have a big problem with the 38mm, but some more screen real estate sure sounds nice. I did go to the Apple store and try it on and it looked and felt maybe a little bulky, but definitely not crazy big. It's definitely a bit more of a statement than the smaller watch. I would sure hate to make the change and then regret it though.

Has anyone made this switch and can offer some insight? Anyone with regrets?

It's probably the wrong thread, but I'm no lady either!

When I first got our Watches, I noticed (for me) both 42mm and 38mm seemed to work for me. I've never been a fan of oversized watches, and old enough to remember plenty of adults (male and female) like "boy" sizes for Rolex watches.

I ended up sticking with the 42mm, even though it meant I couldn't swap bands with the 38mm. For me that meant more screen real estate, longer battery life, and also certain Watch bands that were made for the 42mm like Apple's Leather Loop.

But ultimately you'd need to decide for yourself what would suit you best. If you are leaning towards the 42mm, and you have the option to return it within 14 days as offered via Apple Stores, do that and see how you go.
