Hi, I upgraded to latest 10.15.7 which brings Safari 15.0. Now Safari won't open pages "recurrent error with URL. Reload". URL as simple as belll.ca. Does this to some XX pages and random pages too from gift cards site to car parts. Googled 1000 times and nobody has a way to fix it. Safari 14.2 worked like a charm before upgrade. Did all the usual stuff: prefs, plist, etc, Had to resort to download Safari Technology Preview for Catalina which is not in my native language. Kind of pissed by this. At least pages load. So is there somebody who knows what's happening with Safari 15.0? What do you suggest me to do? I just upgraded to Catalina a few weeks ago. Was on Mojave for the past years and you know Mojave: no frills, no fuss, no nothing. A real Mac. Can you help me?
Thanks again friends.

Hi! Do you have some active extensions right now or maybe you checked same pages in a private window? Safari 15 is quite fresh, there may not be a fix yet.

Working on a client's mid-2012 MacBook Pro 13-inch and ran into this issue. Been troubleshooting for a few hours, presuming there was something wrong with their computer.

After a clean install of Catalina on a blank drive, Safari works fine. After upgrading to 10.15.7 (without both Safari updates and the Security update), Safari still works fine.

I chose just the security update and the computer automatically installed Safari 15 ... so now I'm dead in the water again.

I hope they do fix it. I just updated to 15.0 everything now is slow on loading. I'll wait a few days, hope it gets better. But now it looks like it's back to Firefox for the default browser.
Well, it looks like Safari turned back to normal. Fast loading, no problems. After updating to 15.0 I let the computer sit for about an hour, rebooted the computer and now everything looks normal again. I don't know if that information will help anyone, but it worked on my Mac.

Same issue. Computer upgraded Catalina & Safari automatically. Some webpages constantly reload rendering it useless. Disabling javascript worked but other webpages wont load without that. Was on a chat with apple support & their recommendation was to reinstall Mac OS?? Thats the best they can suggest? I’ve restarted, cleared caches, history, etc. Still f-ed up.

I've been an avid Mac user since the Apple IIe and this "new improved" completely broken version of Safari is the first time I've seen this huge of a failure. It's not even a Beta version. It's not even Microsoft awful - it's a total embarrassment. It's very clear no one even tested it before release.

A huge number of websites no longer open. The problem frequently seems to begin after attempting to login - the redirect confuses the browser.

I'm not seeing any of these problems. I tried the eBay website as shown in @golfgirlgolf attachment above and the website loads perfectly. Maybe Luck is on my side??
The landing page is OK - after login however is another story. I read somewhere else that disabling Javascript kind of works but the sites require Javascript to work - so there you go!

I don't have an account at eBay. What are the other sites people are having problems with loading so I can check it out and see if it effects my computer also?

Same here on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 with Safari 15.0. Banking login web page constantly reloading and failing with "Problem repeatedly occurred". Worked fine before.
Error messages from console attached.
Last Safari before this version and latest Firefox browser work(ed) fine for the failing websites.

While some are fortunate enough to have Safari 15 work out fine, it's simply broken for some of us. And since upgrading to Catalina, I’ve kept Safari clean and uncluttered, including not a single extension installed. And I’m still inflicted with this beta mess.

Calling Apple support is useless for this sort of problems these days: Reinstalling the OS is their scripted answer to everything. I notified eBay instead LOL Of course not expecting eBay to have the solution, but if enough people pester eBay to let them know that their site isn’t loading with Safari 15, maybe Apple will get off their arses to do something. Hopefully a fix will be in the works soon.

Here in Canada, bell.ca. Who could think Bell website would not load. First third of the page loads then disappears. And this message shows. It's French though.

Loads fine here. It looks like this bug effects certain computers. I hope Apple gets a fix out fast for the ones being effected. But knowing Apple the fix will probably screw up my Safari that is working fine.

B of A and SamsClub no problem with site. I'm using LastPass as Password Manager for signing in. I shut down LastPass and signed in also, no problem.

Si tu veux parler Québécois, écris-le comme il faut. Flabbergasted de lire du Français icitte? As for Safari 15, I too am getting better results with DL from Apple website. A tad slower but at least it opens pages.

Replied too soon. Some pages don't load like flipp.com. I'm done with Safari 15.0. Going back to Mojave on my external SSD or stay on Catalina with Safari Technology Preview 14.2. I think Safari 15.0 was not ripe for public release.

I fixed this on on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 with Safari 15.0 by re-installing Safari 15.0.
I downloaded from this link provided on the Apple discussions support forum:
Safari 15.0 for Catalina

No restart needed. Use at your own discretion/risk.
That fixed the problem for me - I started having the problem right after updating today. Could not keep pages from vanishing at Chase Bank, OWC Mac Sales, etc. Most sites did not display the issue?

THANKS!
