Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

Mine feels solid with no movement at all. It's hard to even take it off honestly.

That's exactly the look I want. Kind of leaning towards the midnight blue right now. Although saddle is kind of hard to pass on... the midnight blue looks more unique. And in a way more subtle.
 
obenauf LP is your best friend for saddle brown. I wish I had pics of my old case, but I got rid of it awhile back for my iPhone 6+

obenauf will protect the leather and darken it immediately

My Speck Presidio case has a raised lip all the way around, so my finger always hits it when I swipe up. It's not something I would describe as a problem. It's not even annoying to me, but it's one of those things you don't realize is a design flaw until you remove the case and swipe up without it.

Even most full cases have enough openings for the lightning port and speakers that you end up with dust and lint, but the full cases do certainly offer some scratch protection. I suppose they also offer some impact protection for the bottom of the display. That said the leather case certainly seems to offer solid protection and many of the owners posting pics here have used it on previous iPhones as well.

I have more fingerprints than anything else. Doesn't really seem to be problematic.

can some of you post pictures of the Cosmos blue, want to see how that bad boy is coming along, I know people didn't like some of the black/patina look but just trying to see whats going on with it now.

It's almost as if the device, as a thing, is more complete with the leather cases.

The back looks even cleaner. All rough edges are softened. General grip and feel is improved.

Seems odd that I almost consider the phone with an Apple Leather case as the more complete product now. Naked feels...naked. Anything else feels and looks wrong.

Couldn’t agree more. The way the case sits right up against the sharp edges of the camera bump makes it seem like the phone was meant to have it on.
 
A month after... Sprayed Crep Protect (water/stain repellant) out of the box. Cleaned it up a bit with Meguiar’s leather conditioner/cleaner tonight. Color didn’t change much even with the conditioner applied, just the way I like it. Just waiting for the conditioner to dry a bit.

Did you rub coconut oil on your case? That one darkened pretty quick!

Jus picked up a product red for my x. Does anyone else have any photos of their red progression?
