About 10 month old Storm Gray. I don't use it that much so not too much wear on it.

A month after... Sprayed Crep Protect (water/stain repellant) out of the box. Cleaned it up a bit with Meguiar’s leather conditioner/cleaner tonight. Color didn’t change much even with the conditioner applied, just the way I like it. Just waiting for the conditioner to dry a bit.

Did you rub coconut oil on your case? That one darkened pretty quick!

did absolutely nothing to it. normal use.

Seems odd that I almost consider the phone with an Apple Leather case as the more complete product now. Naked feels...naked. Anything else feels and looks wrong.
This is the first iPhone, ever, where I feel the same. I tried many times to remove the case and use the phone without it, and it just doesn't feel as good. Weird.

I have several cases and bumpers and always find myself coming back to the Apple Saddle Brown case. Everything else just looks ordinary and cheap to me for the iPhone X.

Taupe sucked for my 6s, the wife and I hated it.

would stain with blue jeans, or black pants, and as soon as you got some stain on it, it would just seem dirty as hell

After a year of use, case midnight blue slowly releases color irrespective of its renewal by hand cream or pure vaseline. Honestly, I did not spare or been careful to be in perfect condition.
Midnight blue has long gone - actually, got a gift (not fake, original). I've been waiting for Saddle brown for a long time and I do not want to buy it. :)

Question for the Apple leather case users, how has it handled drops? I really like the case, but with a toddler in the house I need protection out of a case. I'm also a little apprehensive about the bottom being open, but that's just my insecurities I guess.
It scratches the leather a little with each drop (I'm not gentle) but never leaves a mark on the phone. All in all, no complaints
[doublepost=1516170197][/doublepost]Has anyone put straight up hand lotion on their case to speed things up a bit?

Don't think lotion will help it. Just rub your hands on it often to get it to darken evenly.

Love that
Thanks! I've been giving the ends a little extra attention in an attempt to get it to wear evenly but I think I'm just going to try and forget about it and let it do its own thing. I like that the patina is starting to look almost black while leaving accents of blue throughout.
