Somehow, Amazon said that the case was going to arrive tomorrow morning, but it ended up coming tonight, I had just ordered it this morning… Here's that Amazon lucky coin case. The last picture is next to my Ryan London that I used daily. Keeping the RL. The Amazon one feels good for the price, not as soft as RL. But closed bottom is cool!

Does it have any strong leather smell and is the speaker grill precise enough?

It looks really good for the price and I can see the camera bump is slightly different than the RL case, the design reminds me of the defected batch from Bullstrap's 14PM, but the leather seems to be better from the pics (I hope)

Bullstrap's leather is definitely dryer than RL's when new, so I'm looking forward to receive my Luckycoin case so I can see if the leather is similar to BS or RL.

Smell is definitely not intoxicating like Bullstrap or RL.
Holes seem to line up just fine. Overall, if I needed a case still, i'd buy this for sure. I have a few bullstraps and RL's. I'd still buy them before this one.

I get it. the quality of the BS and RL cases are just unmatched to the competitors. Although RL's leather is slightly better in my opinion, the colour of the BS cases are just too good to ignore that I'm willing to sacrifice a little bit of the leather quality and go for the BS this year.

Damn that’s kinda tempting, imo comparing RL to anything showcases how nice their leather is. My RL cases compared to BS also make it obvious how supple RL leather is.


Might give their navy blue a whirl and see if it’s actually navy blue or turquoise like the marketing material they have out. How are the buttons?

Does anybody have pictures of a (preferably black) Mujjo leather case with some months of patina on it?

I know Mujjo cases aren’t really loved here because of the leather quality. I still bought one however, because of the slim profile and easy availability here in The Netherlands.

Already tried removing the protective layer of the Mujjo case, so I’m curious what the end result would be after a couple of months.

Could you take weight and measurements when you get a chance? Would be interesting to compare them to the RL closed bottom.

Finally a proper leather case with full body protection and no ugly metal camera ring. I can’t wait for mine to arrive. This just might turn into my daily driver and retire my Bullstrap case

For 15pro it’s 30.6 grams. Definitely the lightest leather case I’ve found so far. The problem I have is the usb c and speaker hole cutouts are jacked on mine. I’ll post some pics tomorrow.

So here are some pics of the lucky coin case. It just came last night and the leather was a little dry so I put some conditioner on it and this morning the leather feels much better. I really like the weight of the case and the lip is a little lower than the other leather cases I’ve tried (other than bullstrap). It’s still not as low as the apple leather case which was basically even with a screen protector but I haven’t found a closed bottom leather case that has a lip as low as apples. My only real issue with the case is the usb and speaker holes don’t line up correctly. Other than that it seems to be a winner.

I agree that the leather feels a little dry but that is an easy fix. I would reach out to them regarding the holes. Mine are spot on. This tan is such an awesome color.
