The vast majority of us agree and have done for many years. I do find it interesting that so many people here opt for other options.
Haha, well I don’t agree at all about that affirmation. For me RL OB is quite similar and almost identical to Bullstrap, and lets say Alex Goldfinch case (bests cases for me for sure) but at the moment AG cost 35,95€ while RL costs me almost 65€. And having tried both I don’t get the praise to RL I’ve said that more times haha, well don’t get me wrong, i get the praise because is a fantastic case, and I think if I hadn’t bought AG, probably I would have bought a RL OB. but the point here is that I think some people only have tried RL case, so they shout how happy they are with RL case (which is fair obviously) but hadn’t tried other cases. Then there is people here who have tried more cases, some praise Bullstrap for their color offering, some praise RL for the Client Support they have received, affinity, some for their leather quality. There are tons of reason, all valids.

IMHO if you have tried a Bullstrap case, a Ryan London OB, and an Alex Goldfinch, you can not call any of them the “Leather Goats” because they are just so similar and so great in leather feeling, there are just some small details that makes you decide for one or another.

This is why the case game is fun. Something appeals to everyone. It’s all subjective. I’ve tried all the mentioned brands and for me and many others Ryan London is THE GOAT. Again it’s all opinion and subjective. If I found something I like more or if someone found something they like more that would be the goat for them. Until I try and find something better than Ryan London they will remain THE GOAT for me.

As far as I remember you didn’t try Alex Goldfinch cases haha :).

Anyway I guess you’ve tried Bullstrap, you really consider RL OB far superior to Bullstrap ?

I haven't yet my friend has a few Alex Goldfinch and they are awesome! Yes sir I've tried a number of Bullstrap and cannot deny they are awesome as well. I agree with you that all are very similar. Luckycoin and a few others. Just my opinion that Ryan London is the choice for me based on fit, function, and a few other check points on a leather case for me. This year I've noticed a lot of leather companies going with a thicker approach to accomodate the CC. Ryan london has managed to keep a thinner approach which is very noticable for me.

Fair enough, didn’t try this years Ryan London, but I had their 15 pro max case and yes, their OB case is great, I’m only a “hater” of their CB as you know haha.

I am sure Alex Goldfinch is almost identical to Bullstrap and Ryan London. As @JerseyJon RL has kept the thinnest leather case of the bunch this year with CC. My biggest issue with Goldfinch is the logo. I am not a fan of it at all. I would go for the Taupe if it wasn't for the logo on the back. Just to test the case out.

Me too my friend!! Can't stand closed bottom cases. As much as I love their customer service and Jun I did not like the response to their Gap Gate on their most recent cases.

I found something rather funny. Just for kicks, I ask ChatGPT to tell me if it was a defect that my Apple Silicon case has a gap along the bottom on the phone. The response I got was almost exactly what Jun said. The cutout was made bigger so that bigger chargers could be used. Also it said the gap was there so that you could access the bottom of the screen easier for swapping. Very interesting that ChatGPT finds that this is designed this way by Apple.

Maybe Jun asked ChatGPT to answer customer haha

Yeah, I personally love their logo, looks sleek and subtle, but this is totally subjective and personal. But I also like Bullstrap logo, or even I would prefer RL logo on the back instead of on the side. I’m a “logo” man haha

He could have. These days everyone uses ChatGPT. Just interesting it seems ChatGPT seems to have gathered information that it was intentional.

To each their own for sure. If was to have a logo on the back, I would want the Apple logo. The only one that should be on the back of the case. For me that is.

Sure, everyone uses ChatGPT nowadays.

I kinda agree, i would totally prefer the apple logo on the back, man if just apple return to make their old leather cases again, would end with third party leather case market I guess.

I don't even need the old Apple leather cases (I would love them), I just want to an Apple leather case of any kind.

Apple leather cases were a sticky mess for anyone that lives in the heat/humidity tropics.
Sides were never straight, corners popped off, that's just from memory.
Yes I had them since the IP5.
Overpriced cheap rubbish imo.

They weren't great leather, but they fit. They weren't bulky, and they functioned well. If they had one this year they would have a button on the CC. That is my biggest complaint this year, the cutout is terrible for the CC. 3rd parties just can't get it right.
Yep, I agree, I think they will get it right when iPhone 17 arrives… bit late
