yeah I might! but im already on case overload for 16 plus.. though I dont think I'm upgrading this year from what I've seen.
2 month update on RL 16Pro CC leather case; fits like a glove, leather feels and smells great BUT 2 days ago the cc button cover decided to fall out of nowhere, didn’t drop the phone or anything just found it detached in my pocket.
Has this occurred to anyone else, if yes what did you do? Do you just glue it back on? Because the haptic feedback of the cc button doesn’t work with it off.

Probably explains why they've not re-stocked the CC button versions since the initial batch...
And why other as Bullstrap or Alex Goldfinch didn’t release theirs yet.
Seems it is like a complex mechanism, and RL decided to hurry and bring something not well finished to the market to gain big money.
Hope I’m wrong and is an isolated case.
Contact them this is a perfect example of a legit warranty claim, and they should answer ( I guess they will do)
Did they fix it? I purchased one but I didn’t like how the corners were shorter than the center part.
nice smell and feel, a little rough though instead of glossy feeling - is that normal with LC?
Also side power button almost recessed or flush with the leather but I can at least press the button pretty easily. I’ve had some cases that are impossible to press from Ali

Mine was rough out of the box. I used a little bit of Lexol leather conditioner and it helped.
I am digging it overall seems like a really nice quality case for an Amazon $30 purchase.
I haven’t had RL or bullstrap at least the final product. I got a bullstrap 14PM sample case for like $8 and this seems much nicer than from memory. I have a RL case for my AirPods Pro 2 and still holding up well.
.. Finding camera leather lip cases for iP16+ is near impossible this checks the box. This and Le Pelle for another style and I’m now set

True it was quick and easy, they’re shipping out a replacement case for me
Turns out my first light brown LC on right was defective ... can see it flaking in bottom left corner after not even a couple hours of use (and around front lip, not pictured)
Happy with the black and replacement one though! and still a bit rough feeling, but not like the first there was something wrong with the material
On left the dark brown one is Le Pelle
In the end, worked out better being defective because the replacement + black one were 30% off at the time of buying
think I'm set now

I switched up my Bullstrap after using it for about nine months and the patina is a lot more pronounced than I had noticed. Despite how dark it is, that lovely blue-green is still very present.
The newer one was used for about two weeks before suffering some water damage, which is mostly unnoticeable after sitting for that nine months. That line running across the case is all that’s left.

Just got a tan Alex Goldfinch. Really like it. Seems identical to Ryan London. They have a discount and claim these are the last ones. Also get a 20% coupon for future versions. Curious to see if it’s just like Ryan London. Hope they can figure out a CC button without adding metal camera lens.
As per their CEO on Reddit, they are indeed launching a CC button version of their existing case soon.
I’ve been nearly 3 month with that case, later I will update a patina photo. Impressive so far. I don’t find it identical to RL, very similar, but, if memory dont fail me, buttons on RL where different, leather feeling a bit different (both premium feeling for sure) and Patina is (in my experience) bit better in AG.
Also waiting for them to release cc button, that would be an almost perfect case.
Just need to keep the camera leather. Love my Andar but really enjoy the back to be full leather without metal camera ring.

, here they are. My 4 months patina with Alex Goldfinch, I think it’s superb, just so beautiful, case have held very well, some scratcher that reabsorb when rubbing gently, some scuffs and dents on corners from drops, but applying a tiny amount of leather balm they just heal themselves, leather it’s so soft, and sticky now. Very impressive actually.
Also have this in taupe but I’m being using this more since I’m addictive to its patina haha. Will post in a couple of weeks in Taupe (also is getting a really good patina)

If that’s true, that might be the best leather case of this iPhone generation. Let’s hope 🤞🏼
I’m using my black Ryan London with camera control button now. At first, I had to get used to the leather feeling of this case. I had Crazy Horse leather cases the past years, but I never had the kind of leather Ryan London uses.
So, I switched back to the Dbrand Ghost on and off, but I keep slapping back on the Ryan London. It feels really nice on the pinky and I love the feel now. I love this case!
Would still eye on an AG case with camera control, given the fact I am in the EU. I’d go for a Saddle Brown / Tan then.
