Leather Cases - Patina Proud Photos

I'm a week in on the LC open bottom case now. Those of you who own LC's know they are kinda dry when they come out of the box. After a few days use I can confirm the open bottom version is performing the same as the closed bottom did. The leather is now buttery smooth and all the dryness has disappeared. The edges of the phone are always the first to start to develop patina and this time round is no exception. Its faint but its definitely happening. I will say though that I think the leather on the open bottom is slightly nicer than the closed bottom. It just feels like a slightly more premium leather. With no port to crack on this one it should easily outlast the old case and get a good shot at developing that real deep patina that I crave. I'll post an update at the 30 day mark.

Anyone here have some cases with a year or more use on them they can post pics of. Show us those beauties!

Why would you pay Bullstrap $100 when cases like this are available?! They really do pull people’s pants down

In my opinion I have had black leather before and it’s very difficult to see any patina.
If you like to seen patina develop then go brown and Ryan London is quality.

Serious review of the black Ryan London case for the 15 Pro.

Been through a lot for two monts straight - a flood, lots of works being done, lots of dust on it virtually at all times, getting wet frequently, and this is the result. It holds up really well.

I wasn't that impressed with the LC I received, the corners were full of creases, but guess that's not normal?

I’ve had two LC cases and they have both been perfect. The leather is a bit dry out of the box which is more noticeable in the corners but after a few days of use it all softens and smooths out.

Okay. I had a case from aliexpress. It's definitely not real leather, but it's really beautifully finished, with magsafe, camera control buttons and metal buttons. I don't know what to ask for more than $10.
RL and Nomad don't have the option to ship to me. So I tried that.

Just saw this post from Alex Goldfinch on Reddit. I really hope they release the darker blue option. It is very reminiscent of Apples Midnight Blue from back in the day. I’m sure a lot of you would like to see that option considering that no one’s offers that option in the market of leather cases.

Did you notice that your buttons have a slightly different finish, my volume down looks slightly different, more matte.

All the buttons on mine match. My older LC case also had all matching buttons.
