I am seriously considering getting a Leather loop, but I am a little worried the 3rd party bands might be too long for my wrist, I don't want it wrapping all the way around my wrist and over the watch :) what have your experiences been? Are the 3rd party bands much longer.
The first batch of leather loops that came out were a little bigger than the medium OEM leather loops. Some 3rd party sellers on eBay are starting to sell 2 sizes of the leather loop, a smaller size and a larger size. Most of those are still coming from China. Right now their seems to be 2 different factories making the bands, and possibly 3. Freedomoclock09 bands run a little longer in fit then lnkoo888. Buy from someone that you can return it easy if it doesn't fit. I have one of the non OEM LL 42mm light blue and it is great. Worn it the last couple of weeks and no problems with it.

Compared it in store yesterday to a genuine one, it's the same length. I bought from lnkoo888

Are there any 1:1 leather loop clones out right now that don't have that gap by the connecters?

I have one of the standard length ones from Inkoo888 and I do think it's a little long. It wraps to about 3/4 of an inch below the watch case.

THIS SELLER offers different sizes that are more in line with Apple's sizes. I have one ordered but haven't received it yet.

It looks like the one with the different sizes, their m/l looks like the size of the OEM medium loop. A difference of 2.5mm. The s/m version, they don't have dimensions. But for a small wrist, the small might work.

The one I reviewed here is sold by Happycell on Amazon, but you can find the same band with the same box sold by other sellers on eBay and Amazon. Unfortunately most of these sellers are short on details, so I had no idea how long the band I ordered would be. I was relieved that it was not too long. the box it came in says "Medium" and the length is perfect for my 170mm wrist. Perhaps they ship Medium bands for 38mm and longer bands for 42mm? Or maybe they always ship Medium regardless? I tried on the Apple Leather Loop in the Apple Store and it was quite long on me... the end came up almost to the watch face. It was probably the Large band, but I did not check since I was buying a Sport watch anyway.

I'm 99% sure you're wearing it inside out. I made the same mistake when I first got mine. I can tell because your loop is way too wide. Try taking the band out and flipping it over.

^^^ This right Here. Listen to this guy.

I received the blue leather loop from Happycell via Amazon. Quite pleased. 9/10 - I wish the long end was a bit shorter.

Does anyone have experience with this seller & band? Seems to be a nice price, and has good feedback.

I have one from SIKAI right now (Most come from same manufacturer), and the lock mechanism doesn't work, and I can see a piece of the metal of the lock mechanism on the top piece.
So I would like to try another one.

I bought from that seller on July 25, marked as sent a few days later. I think I had them send to my work address (Australia). If so, still waiting.

Already had the blue leather loop from lnkoo888 but couldn't resist and just ordered the beige one from him too. Love these things. The blue leather loop actually became my most often worn band. I pretty much never take it off and probably won't until the beige one comes.

Just got my blue leather loop from Inkoo888 - looks like it's very well made and fit perfectly into my watch.

Are you guys cleaning the leather loop from Inkoo888 before using it? If so, how?

Could you post some pictures?

I'm still looking for a good leather loop knock off, since I would like one which looks a bit better than the SIKAI ones.
Most of the eBay sellers don't send to The Netherlands, and all most of the other bands are quite expensive still ($40+)

Anyone have any suggestions for me?

With a warm watered cotton towel, gently rub the LL down or swipe it, let dry overnight. Then condition with leather conditioner if desired (recommended).

Received my second red leather loop (tripped and ruined the first) the cuts are much more precise now and pretty much line up exactly with the watch casing.

Definitely worth the $50 I paid :)

Does lnkoo888/lnkoo999 not ship there?

I've ordered mine from lnkoo999 due to arrive at the end of this week (hopefully), will post pictures if/when it arrives!
