Mine is the same, warmer yellow tint on 3GS, blueish tint on 2G. Only realy noticable with the brightness turned quite far down or when comparing side by side with my 2G.

It could be your monitor.

slightly? Bottom 1/3rd Isn't that where the light source is? (it may just be from reading all of these threads and becoming paranoid. Either way not bad enough to go through the hassle of a return)

The color on mine is definitely warmer, but it's only noticeable at low brightness levels. Doesn't bug me, particularly.

Do you think this is normal?
It may well be that the screen tint should be "warmer" ... that isn't just warmer though. The whites aren't even white, the screen looks like a window that hasn't been washed in about 2 years.
The 3GS may look yellow but the 3G looks pink...

By the way, you all know that the serial number can be seen in Settings> General> About......so come on and post them, you dont need to check the box or back of the phone.
compare the keyboards of a 3G to your 3GS and tell me what you think? My 3GS keyboard looks way washed out comparing to 3G.
