Although I agree, it makes me wonder why Apple was selling Powersupport screen protectors on launch day - but then again they didn't have a perfect fit.

Apple really should work with the bigger case companies. I know they're all about the big secret, but honestly what's the point. We all saw what the iPhone 6 would be months in advance.
I had a Lifeproof on my 5s and loved it. I was thinking of not getting one for my 6, but yesterday my friend's phone fell in about 6 inches of water and that made my decision for me! Luckily we saved his phone, but I can't wait for the Lifeproof to come out!
It's going to take more than a few weeks for Lifeproof to release their cases guys, they would have to be properly tested to make sure they actually work as advertised. Would you rather have them release a case and have your phone destroyed because it didn't work?

No i know, i heard the same mid-november release date. But this thread was made only a week after the 6/6Plus came out. People just have no patience, and act like their entitled to have things when THEY want them
I plan to only use a Lifeproof case where the iPhone 6 is definitely going to get wet.
Last summer I went to two waterparks with my 5s in a Lifeproof. The phone was submerged constantly on rides and came out unscathed.
The rest of the time I plan to use a normal case.

Thankfully, after reading the rest of this post, it seems that November 7th is a pretty good guess on release of the NUUD. I'm happy to wait. In the mean time, I've got a cheapie Insiginia "bumper" just to protect it from minor bumps and bruises around the house.

Yea. I've ALWAYS rocked a Defender, this time around I'm looking into the NUUD. I've seen the horrible reviews AND the NUUD just seems much sleeker and slimmer. Since I got the PLUS, I need it as slim as possible.

Where are you hearing/seeing November 7th? You think it'll be available to order from Best Buy right away? (I have a promo code that expires on the 8th...)
I did a little digging. If they follow their trend from previous iPhone releases, it seems that the 7th of November is their "magic" release date. ((or very close to it)) Keep in mind, this is a projection and not concrete fact. I am taking an educated guess based on their history.
Will it be available from Best Buy day of? This, I have no idea. But I would imagine retailers probably have pretty quick access to these cases. If you go to any Best Buy/Target/Walmart right now, the 6 and 6 PLUS case sections are cleaned out like a horde of locusts swallowed them all.
Thanks. The Lifeproof fre for the 5s was released on October 29th, 2013. Hopefully it's coming this week.
I'm with you buddy. I've been doing the whole Otterbox Defender thing for the last 3 years... I want to try Lifeproof this go around. Excited for that e-Mail that says "Your case has arrived"!
Thats because it was the same case as the one for the 5 just with the touch id sensor visible. So of course that very minor alteration to the case wouldn't take as long as creating a new case from scratch.
I've got a Best Buy gift card burning a hole in my wallet, i think i'll go with the Nuud this time around
So I just got an e-mail from Lifeproof said that they have delays and probably won't be shipping the 6's out till January and 6 plus till March. I really hope this isn't true.

I may end up having to go with Otterbox after all. No way I can (or would) wait that long.
