I may end up having to go with Otterbox after all. No way I can (or would) wait that long.

I'll wait for the Otterbox Defender in the color I've been looking for.... Here's a thread I started before deciding to try the NUUD this time around. Looks like I'll be going with Otter again by default.

That is really strange, though. They must be taking quite a loss.
I didn't receive anything... And I don't see anything posted on their Facebook or Twitter accounts, so I hope this isn't accurate.

That was through our corporate site...but it's available on their regular site also.
Ok, so they seem to believe the availability is going to be the 25th of November (ouch!), but I'm still interested in saving 33% !!! That's an INSANE discount!!!
I haven't seen a pre-order anywhere else yet...I haven't decided. The nuud doesn't have the screen protector, right? Is that the only main difference?
That's correct. I think it's SLIGHTLY bulkier than the Fré also

Both cases are watertight. The difference is the NUUD is meant to be used WITHOUT a screen protector, which makes the case a bit bulkier because of the design.
Oh okay thanks! That clears it up.
Just chatted with BHPhoto and they said the 25th is when they'll receive it, that doesn't mean that they'll ship out that day but they will ship pre-orders first.
Placed my pre-order for the Black fre case. Hopefully it'll be before the 25th, but I'll keep an eye on other sites...
