If you are in need of an excellent Remote Desktop app, you need to get Jump Desktop. It is fast and easy to use with excellent support. It is 50% off right now. You can get it from the App Store. If you have a Mac mini, you can use this app with an iPad or another Mac to access the mini in a headless fashion, which works very well. I have been using it for years.

My bad. I thought that $24.99 was a full price

I wish the App Store would make it easier to see price changes. I think they actually raised the regular price from $40 to $50, since I remember paying $20 during last year's sale. Hopefully they keep this app supported as a one-time purchase instead of transitioning to their subscription apps.

There was an advert on the front page of MacRumors for a VideoProc DVD ripper software. I can't find it now. I believe the Black Friday coupon code was "Macrumors" but it doesn't seem to be working on the software's site and I can't find the ad on MacRumors anymore for some reason.

Was it pulled? Does anyone know of any deals on DVD-ripping software? Or even any suggestions for a good app that lets me rip my old DVDs to my Mac?

I do. I have been using it from the beginning. It is excellent with lots of granularity control. Well worth the money. Much better than Apple's optimized setting.

Good to know you recommend it so highly. It definitely seems like the best way to preserve a Mac's battery health.

is there any benefit to using aldenta as opposed to just, not going below 20% or above 80%?

One can certainly manually adjust the state of the battery charge. AlDente also has the ability to calibrate the battery on whatever schedule one wishes, amongst other features. In my opinion, $21 for a lifetime license is worth the app expense whereby I don't have to manually babysit my Mac's battery.

If you have any questions about it later on, don't hesitate to ask.
I got it last Black Friday sale and I have only use it to set the battery charge to 80%. Other than that I do not do anything else with it. I know I am probably missing out on some features. Anything you recommend to do?

Thanks
