If you have the pro version, I recommend setting up a scheduled task on a monthly basis let the app calibrate your battery.

Got those as Christmas gifts for family members. Ordered one set (2), but they wouldn't let me order 2 sets, then they emailed me again, so I ordered and got another deal again. Keep family members safe online!
I took advantage of that. They do make great software. I had some of their software, Piezo and Fission, really good. I wanted to update to Audio Hijack, so I just bought all the apps in a bundle, as I think the other apps will come in handy.
The Pro version works in Clamshell

Although I have been tempted for a while, I haven’t used Dr.Buho’s products. (https://www.drbuho.com/black-friday-sale) However, they look better than what MacPaw (CleanMyMac X, etc.) offers, partly because they are paid-up licenses. I tried CleanMyMac X about a year ago, and was not favorably impressed.
This is almost exactly using the same UI as CleanMyMac X.
I’m sure it is cheaper because MacPaw is doing all his design work for him. I wouldn’t feel comfortable paying for a product that is stealing their UI. Eventually MacPaw will find it is worth it and will sue them out of existence.
I hadn’t noticed the similarities in UI before, so I appreciate your pointing it out. And like you, I wouldn’t now feel comfortable paying for this product either. (Ironically, the “U” in Dr.Buho stands for unique and the “H” is for honest.) Thanks for saving me some money!
For the record, I think CleanMyMac X’s UI is great. However, I didn’t purchase a subscription because although there were some things I thought were good about the program, overall I didn’t like its performance. Additionally, I am very reluctant to buy a subscription for any software.

I bought a “VideoProc - Lifetime License” for $3.50 (+$5 to unlock the bundle) in 2018 from BundleHunt. Only after one update I had trouble with activation and customer support resolved the situation quickly.
I don’t really like the app and I don’t use it, but if you consider buying it, definitely buy from BundleHunt.
