This tracking is making me go crazy.
Mine DEPARTED Anchorage (but it never arrived there) yesterday at 7:46PM.
It hasn't been seen since.
What has it been doing the past 16 hours? It definitely doesn't take that long to get anywhere in the US.

I ordered my 1.8/SSD on the 17th and it's still "Not yet shipped". The estimated shipping day is the 8th. Has anyone that ordered on the 17th already shipped or "prepared for shipping"? I'm just curious as to weather my MBA will ship early or not.
Also, would changing the shipping type possibly delay my order?

I ordered 1/17 and mine is in Boston hopefully on its way to me although nothing new has shown up on tracking today.
I don't think anyone with your expected shipment date will be shipped early because of manufacturing delays.
Well, my MBA arrived in Memphis (from Anchorage) this morning. I'm not sure if that means it'll go on a flight from Memphis to Charlotte tonight for delivery tomorrow morning (oh please, oh please) or if this means I'll have to wait until Tuesday morning...
it has to go throught Indy or memphis.. there the 2 big US hubs
maybe yours prob went thre and left already but they didn't update the tracking? i think someone else here had that too that it just skipped a bunch of steps in the tracking site
still a chance i think for tomorow delivery.. if all goes smoothy in memphis
however it might be more likely tuesday? if it just at memphis today..

My 1.8/SSD arrived in Memphis this afternoon. Delivery is still scheduled for Wednesday morning.

I odered a 1.6/80GB MBA after steve job's keynote tuesday. Not right after it, but 5 hours later I guess.

Mine left Shangai Jan 30, then Anchorage, AK Jan 31, Then Memphis TN, Feb 01, and now its says it left Indiananapolis, IN, Feb 02. No news since then. Maybe it is in Toronto, ON, CAN now (feb 03) and will be in Ottawa, ON, CAN (feb 04) in the morning.
Can't wait!

I probably should have ordered one right after the keynote but I wanted to fondle one first. Today I did just that but they didn't have any for sale (wink, wink). So I Just ordered a 1.8/SSD online (delivering Feb 29th) and will hound the stores for one. If I get lucky, I'll cancel the online order.
Seems like everyone here who already has one is pleased with the Air and my short time with one convinced me that I really, really needed one. I tried a reboot and it was quite snappy (1.8/SSD), programs loaded fast, etc. It was too noisy in the store to hear one running but the two I felt the bottom of were no warmer than my cat when she sleeps in my lap.

Was that at Woodfield Mall you saw them?
Yes, they had 3-4 on display. The store opened at 11 and I got there at 11:15 - it was already crowded, but not so much around the Airs.
I don't think estimated delivery date changes until it is on the truck for delivery. You should be good.
Yeah I think your tracking will say something like :
Delivered Feb 04 at X:XXpm
Estimated Delivery Feb 06 by 6:00pm
