Hmmm... me neither can't find any useful tracking number in my order :confused:

On apples order page, there is a tracking # C49XXXXX and the additional info:
Shipped on: Feb 3, 2008 via Flextronics Logistics B.V.

Strangely this is written by the usb Ethernet adapter only. On the MBA item there is another info:
Shipped on: Feb 3, 2008 via Merge In Transit NL
Delivers by: 18 Feb, 2008
Invoice: 90XXXXXXXX

First I don't know what "Merge In Transit NL" means. And clicking at the number # C49XXXXX above the USB adaptor leads me to the apples Shipment Status page 1/1, listing both items and displaying a tracking history. So the whole order seams to go in one package as I would suppose:

Shipped to (...), CH 03 Feb 2008

Estimated Delivery Date 15 Feb 2008 (Subject to change)

Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 04 Feb 2008

Signed By

But here the history stops. Since more than 24 hours. Does it mean that the order is even not picked up and is scheduled to be picked up today on the 4th only? This would mean more than two days after being prepared for shipment:( Is there any direct tracking page of a courier where I could have better view? I can’t find a 27XXXXXXXXX number which would match TNT criteria.

Ok, I just called apple, I said I heard if i cancelled the Ethernet it will make things faster, so he said yes probably 1-2 days faster, but he said If i want the fastest possible then I have to cancel the Ethernet + SSD Option :)

So I said no just cancel Ethernet...

So my new dates are almost the same Feb 11/20 instead of Feb 11/21
but also shipping changed from transit in NL to Fast EMEA!

So now i just have to order the ethernet from online store :)

Aaarg... I hope that Merge In Transit NL doesn't mean more than 1-2 days delay and that there is just no online tracking for this part of the route. I cannot change my order anymore since it is already shipped or should be shipped (see above..) :mad:

Mine's supposed to be shipped via TNT on 3rd Feb. But the tracking screen still shows "no records found"!!! When do they record the location of the package?

FECK!!! I'm getting exactly the same result. Truck involved in accident doesn't sound great does it :mad::eek::(

I ordered mine Jan16, but 1.6 + SSD, so why would it take much extra time to put SSD in there?

Feb 11 to ship thought most who ordered on Jan16 got their status changed already, do u think it can ship few days earlier like all of you? Maybe Feb 6 or 7 :confused:

So far there are no Airs being even prepared to ship to scandinavia. Mine is supposed to be shipped tomorrow so I really hope it gets prepared today. Starting to be a bit upset here ;)

I just got the same. Guessing to the weather I would be the truck was delayed, the airport was probably mad busy.

Just had another call with Apple and this time they confirmed the following:

My MBA first gets transported with a company called Kühne&Nagel to the Netherlands, where it will be joined with the Ethernet adaptor. This first part of the journey will take approx until Feb8 or Feb9 (right, the whole week!!!!! :mad:) During this time, there will be no updates in apples order page. Only afterwards, when the MBA will be customized with the Ethernet adaptor in NL, it will be handed out to the logistics carrier which will be either TNT or UPS. I.e. online tracking only starts more than a week after being prepared for shipment.

This means another week without MBA just because the bloody Ethernet adaptor. The rest of my order is completely standard (1.6/80 with no additional soft or hardware). I asked if I could change anything and cancel the Ethernet adaptor, she said no. And the best of all: I had two calls prior to the shipment last week to ask if the Ethernet adapter will delay the shipment of my MBA!! Guess what: they all said no, since both items are subject of being available at the same time!!! Disapointed! :( :( :(

Got mail saying that they shipped my mba. But there is no tracking number?
I can find a 27xxx number an the status page, but what is it? DHL, UPC, FedEx...?
I hardly can read the mail becaus its dark grey text on black background WTF? :confused:

What ever, delivery ist still the 12th (or earlier).

I'd try TNT, they seem to do most of the deliveries in Europe.

Ordered day after keynote, but because I bought it on Apple Lease, it didn't go through until the 21st. I also ordered with Time Capsule, that pushed the date back to the 11th March, but cancelled Time Capsule and just bought it on the debit card instead.

Sooo.....the date is now:

Estimated Shipping: 13 Feb, 2008
Estimated Delivery: 25 Feb, 2008
