I think mine's stuck, 7 Feb estimated ship but not a sign of ANY movment yet. I also am thinking this is never going to change
Like me you haven't gone with a 'stock' option, may take a little longer. Im sure it'll ship before the 7th tho.
I asked at an Apple reseller when they were gonna be getting them in store and he said about a month r so. Ireland is so much further behind every other country...I mean we dont even have the iPhone yet or an ACTUAL APPLE STORE to sell it in!!
Ye best bet as your in Dub, is to keep an eye on one of the UK retail stores and if necessary get a dirt cheap ryan air flight over and back in the day and pick one up.
I was going to do similar but fly from shannon or kerry-dublin first.
oh and I agree - give us a couple of decent mac stores at least on either side of the country (cork/limerick/dublin)... I mean why can't they have an area in their cork HQ for retail ? It drives me potty.....

They definitely should have a store in Dublin at the very least. I hate buying stuff from O2 experience/Spectra Photo/3G......these guys dont have a clue at all!!!!

I would have thought that the 1.8 processor would just mean another motherboard with the processor accordingly, hardy much of a change from 'stock' you would think.
I see from the list that some 1.8's ordered on 17 Jan like mine have gone to 'prepare for ship status' so I guess there is some hope. Mind you it was 23:00 on the 17th that I finally pressed the order button (had a few drinks first!

As the ones with order date of January 17 have mostly received a shipping notification by now, I'm hoping that we who ordered on January 18 will receive a shipping notification tomorrow!
i don't think so.. Or in other words i think u should look at the shipping date they provided u and wish for 4-5 days earlier but dont look at when u placed ur order!

How is everyone elses doing?
My MacBook Air has shipped. Ordered on the 16th, 1.8GHz, 80GB, Apple Remote and a SuperDrive on it's way to the UK.
I'm still not seeing anything through TNT though. Anyone having a similar problem? It shipped yesterday early morning. All I have is a web order number and the 80 number. Nothing shows up on TNT for either. Should I call TNT and ask what's happening with the delivery?
Apple says it'll deliver by the 14th.

Go onto the apple website
Find the code underneath the status, this isn't in the email. Copy the code into TNT, removing the last 2 digits of the tracking number and select 'yes' for coming from abroad. Thats it!
