Yes.again. mine shipped on the 6th. And its probably in Denmark now, just waiting. I want to find out where so I can pick it up myself.

I didn't say that people shouldn't post anything about the status but it's getting hard for people to get information if it's spread over 2 or 3 pages.

And remember: The MBAs of people with shipment status are already on their way. Other members are still waiting for the shipping itself and they should have a priority in this thread ;)

Isn't it strange that everytime one of us calls, he gets a new answer?

I guess she just saw 'prepared for shipment' and told you what you wanted to hear ;)

Hopefully that means mine will show up Monday. I'll be out all day Tuesday and I can just see them trying to deliver when no-one will be around.

mine's been pushed from the 5th to the 14th!!! i only heard about it in an email though.... the tracking website still says expected ship date as the 5th, but that it's still 'not shipped' :(

i rang up because my order's been changed to fastship and so there are separate estimated ship dates for each part of the order, and none of them have changed to the 14th and the email just said 'the product' you ordered or something vague like that, so i had no idea which part of the order it meant, so when i rang up i was like 'i don't understand this email' and the man basically looked through the online store estimated shipping periods (like the ones you see before you make a new order on the apple store) and was like 'the macbook air's got a 2-3 week estimated shipping so it's probably that'. and i was like 'well i ordered it over three weeks ago' and he was just really vague and was like 'well it's a new product', and then he was saying the rest of the order is probably waiting for the macbook air before shipping but he can ask for them to be shipped separately, but i said that someone had already done that and that's why all the items in my order have a separate shipping date and the shipping method is 'fast ship (emea)' but he seemed to think that only my superdrive had been asked to be shipped separately since that's the only thing that's shipped, even though the rest of the order has a separate ship date for each item rather than one ship date for everything! i was like why hasn't the online order thing updated, and he said 'i know it's annoying it doesn't update' and i said is there much point keep checking the online thing if it doesn't update and he said yes because when it ships you can track it there but basically he wasn't very helpful at all and seemed to think it wouldn't ship until the 14th of feb... i was like i ordered it on the 15th of jan why does it take a month to ship it and he was just like 'it's a new product' so that's the best explanation i got.

My MBA is going great... but UPS have still lost my Superdrive and can't currently locate it... tosspots.

TNT can get a MBA from China to Ireland, faster than UPS can get a superdrive from the UK to Ireland ?

Seems like your expectations of UPS have come true again from what I remember of your posts earlier in the thread. Not good.

What was your status when you get this message? 'Prepared for shipment' already?

LOL! True... just happy it wasn't them who go the MBA order otherwise I'd be pulling my hair out :D

Just spoke to TNT about my delivery and they now say it wont be with me before the 18th! I find that incredible as it is already in Europe. What's going on?

Maybe Apple should have to change carrier in Europe.

Nah... my MBA is still showing as out for delivery on the 13th on Apple site. And when I rang TNT they told me Friday 8th or Monday 11th.

As it happened it arrived yesterday on the 7th. So I wouldn't put too much emphasis on that projected date.

Apple has sent our European computers as Economy Express, and I guess those are always the last items to get aboard. So, if the plane is full, they wait the next plane, and here in Europe they could be transported also with trucks instead of planes. And if after all this these items are too quickly in their destinations, they wait couple of days, because it is economy. Of course they say the date when the delivery is on the destination in worst case :)

Anyway, my MBA and another Finland-bound 1.8/64 are already in Europe and in our hands hopefully on Monday!
