Big THX . it helped ... well i use firefox ... but i was able to examine the source of the page ... :=) .. at least i know now that my air is somewhere between NL and Austria ...

therefore my status changed to REACHED EUROPE

So, I'm pretty excited but also prepared for the next catastrophy!

You can imagine that I followed this thread pretty careful, but I must have missed this: My status now shows 'Shipped on: Feb 9, 2008 via Merge In Transit NL' for the MBA and 'Shipped on: Feb 9, 2008 via Flextronics Logistics B.V.' for the other pieces. There is no further information for the MBA given ... Do I get a TNT tracking ID soon, or will this happen after merging?

you get a reference number in a mail from apple, and just went to the http://www.tnt.com page an enterd my reference number.

i rang up apple again because my macbook air on the online status page still says 'not shipped' with an estimated ship date of the 5th feb, and the guy i spoke to was still a bit vague but he said that it was probably the chinese new year that slowed things down (he brought that up not me) but that they were starting shipping things from china again and he thought it should be shipped early next week... my order is on fastship but he said he could see my accessories were waiting for my macbook air, not the otherway around so at least i know that they aren't slowing the order down, but it's still annoying they don't update the order page when the ship date on the page has passed!

Just take your reference number (also found in the e-mail Apple sent you), starts with 80.

Much nicer way of course is this wonderful widget:

Or you can take the other number which starts with 27, ignore the last two digits and you have the consignment number.

Right, you have to follow the hint from Aichan (a few posts before). Worked for me but I've learned nothing(!) from their tracking "information" ...

Hi.

Mine shipped too.

The Apple mail says that it's supposed to arrive on the 19th. (with printer and Ethernet dongle)

Originally the delivery date was the 25th.

I also have the 80xxxxxxxxx number and can't track it via the tnt widget because it says "not found".

Can someone please repeat the tracking options? TNT widget or a webpage that can only be seen with Internet Explorer? (mystical **** )

I got this now. Is this new code any good? I'm guessing VEN-UPS means I'll get my package from UPS and not TNT, but I checked all my tracking numbers and refs (I've like 6 different codes as of now) and UPS doesn't get them

Tracking works for me right now only with TNT.

when you use the TNT traking page you, and have a 80XXXXXXX number you must cross of the Reference box. becaus the 80xxxxxxx number is a Reference number.

Thank god, that the delay was only about two days . Never thought, that my MBA will be shipped before monday.

I get the exact same thing. same identical code so C-73400818 certainly is not a tracking number
the only thing different is the time which on mine shows 13:43
