I think so. Merging at the end of the week, delivery mid/end of next week is my estimate ... :(

Just spoke with TNT and the lady told me that the package should be already in NL (altough the tracking still shows Shanghai)... I should expect it by the end of this week:cool:

Mine shipped on the 6th, and the status - dated the 12th Feb 2008, which is interesting! - is "In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule" but today the assigned carrier changed to "UK" distribution centre. There is nothing to merge with this unit, though it's marked "Merge in Transit UK". I guess I cancelled the thernet adaptor too late or something.

Yours will be delivered wednesday. Mine could be here tomorrow as Arnhem is not far away from Wesel, aye? They have many nods from where it is delivered to your door.

Would be very bad. Wednesday, I won't be at home the whole day :mad:. But I still hope ;). I'm so happy, It's my first MAC...

See here, how to disassemble the MBA and replace harddisk and battery :D and all of the built in components...

This thing is cute. Have you tried connecting it with a USB hub and see if that works? Appleinsider wrote that not working on non-air system is connected to a driver that is only shipped with the air.

Yep already posted that in another thread. It does not work in a hub or plugged directly into another mac.

The computer will see the superdrive in the system profiler under USB, but it remains inactive and will not accept any discs. Toast sees the drive but wont allow you to use it.

The only way for it to work is if it's connected directly into the MBA usb port. :)

I caught it before I get email from Apple as I mentioned before that I will :D

I still don't know how to track my shipped MBA.

I received an Apple 80xxxxx Reference Number with the shipped mail, but TNT doesn't seem to know this number.

Is there another way to track besides the official apple webpage and the W8xxx number?

If you have Merge in Transit you just have to wait until they assign a new carrier (seems to be UPS, at least for me). Until then your MBA will be in NL.
