Is that really true? I thought it took much longer from the first "prepared for shipping" untill shipped then one day.

I'm just hoping to see some other keyboard then english/german to be prepared soon.

By they way, if it makes any difference, I ordered a remote control also so mine is listed CTO.

Sorry, 'not yet shipped' and 'prepared for shipment' changed several times for some people there -- I'm only refering to the last change of status.

Just found out the buggers charged my Credit Card on the 28th

And I can still cancel my order on the site ?? What the hell is going on ?? Really confused now

That was an early mistake of some sort. Haven't heard of anybody's status reverting backward in a few days.

That's true. But after the last 'pfs' status, the thing has been shipped within a day ...

Because i'm already on the phone / on hold trying to sort out my 3G broadband with O2.

Think everybody needs to calm down. No point calling Apple or canceling orders for Europe.

Calling Apple wont help as the factory not Apple will be processing the orders, Apple wont be able to speed up an order as it would cause disruption in the factory.

Best case scenario: Apple ships a bunch to Europe and then individually posts them out.

Most likely scenario: There were a massive amount of orders for Jan 15th, they will take time to process. Maybe there were so many orders on the 15th it could take a few days to ship those from China and then next week Apple will get around to orders placed on the 16th / 17th etc...

Worst case scenario: Apple ships to US first, then stores in US and then rest of world. This would mean the estimated shipping / delivery dates are true (ish) and we will have to keep waiting.

Doomsday scenario: China had both a New Year holiday and really bad weather at the moment. This could push back our orders for a number of reasons.

I am excited, but im not going to let it ruin my day if it doesnt ship. This happens to me at least once a year (usually around Jan 15th) so im used to the wait and see and hope the guys in China are working hard.

I seem to have the latest delivery date as i ordered it last sun, 27th Jan. My delivery is 3rd march, does any1 think ill get it sooner? I figure Apple are goin through the orders day by day eg. ppl who ordered on the 15th,16th etc so im at the very end.

Does anyone have a glimmer of hope for me?? Maybe, china airways will crash near enough my house and ill be able to rob mine from the cargo hold......maybe.
