Locked files on Desktop.

The best thing would be to create a new user. And backup all your files on a disk that is formatted as exFAT in order to prevent to take over faulty permissions (again).

His permissions were wrong before I said he could use BatChmod. Take a look at post #1.

And BatChmod is intended for unlocking single files and folders. I already mentioned an example.
