Anyone know how to make LI5 stay the way it is on the left? When I turn the screen off then back on, it always reverts to the way it is in the right.

It's a mess, it seems. I had the latest beta which fixed a lot of weirdness, but I can't get past not having the alerts pop up when locked. Is this a "feature"?

Also...and you can test this for yourself...when adding a reminder via Siri in the lockscreen the "cancel" or "confirm" buttons become unresponsive, as does the microphone button.

If that's it...I'll have to wait for the next best thing.

What do you mean by alerts not popping up? They seem to work like normal for me.

Which weather add on did you use? I've tried both Lock Weather and Weather Plugin and they both had me on safemode.

just a quick update. I had to remove Bulletin this morning. It seems to have a memory leak or something that gets worse over time requiring a restart.

shame as it has potential.

I have spent a good chunk of the day playing with both LI and IntelliScreenX,for anyone that wants to try both,DON'T have them both installed at the same time!! I learned the hard way.Anyway in my little shootout I found IntelliScreenX to be better for my usage although they both have much room for improvement,I wouldn't be surprised if LI is better once things get worked out.

Yes I've also moved over to ISX after trying both. It's closer to what I want than LI5, but still not quite as good as LI4. I'm really not a fan of having to click and scroll between widgets in the home screen, If I'm going to do that I might as well just fully open the phone. Hopefully LI will move closer to the fully customisable, at a glance homescreen that LI4 did so well. For me, it's basically this from top to bottom:

- weather forecast/clock
- any unread emails/SMS/other notifications of your choice
- next few calendar events
- favourites quick dial widget (or other widget eg SBSettings)
- remove 'slide to unlock'

Also, just to reiterate DO NOT INSTALL ISX IF YOU ALREADY HAVE LI5 INSTALLED. I too discovered this the hard way :)

I'm too thinking of going the ISX route, but...a question.

firstly, how does it work with BiteSMS? whe I had the trial, the QR window wasn't available

secondly, when I had the trial, I couldn't actually open an sms..if I clicked it I got an option to mark as read, or call the person..but I couldn't actually open it from the lockscreen

thanks for any tips

I'm using ISX with BiteSMS and it seems to be working fine. Haven't had a chance to test it much (only received about 2 messages since I installed it!) but it definitely came up with the QR option and the reply worked fine from the lockscreen.

Also I think in ISX you get a choice of whether tapping the sms opens QR or opens the app fully.

I've had 4 messages..none of which appeared in the QR format, all just appeared under the SMS banner on the lockscreen...and more annoyingly none of which I can open from the lock screen!!

If I tap it, I get an extra row that says call, mark as read etc...but there is no way of opening it.

can anyone tell me how to open an SMS from the lockscreen?

(apologies, I know this thread is about LockInfo really)

1. If you go to the widget there should be two toggles one for notification center and one for view in lock screen. Ive managed to get NC settings in notification center but not as a widget on my home screen.

I do miss features from the old version but this new setup seems much more integrated. Hopefully we will see things come back in future releases of it

Thank you for the suggestion. After some additional playing around (and the explanation post by David) I see now that the problem isn't with Lockinfo in point 1, but with the individual Widget. SBSettings, for example, does not have the "Show in Lock Screen" toggle where some others do. I ran into a couple of other widgets which did not have that toggle either. So it sort of makes sense now how to get some to not show in lockscreen. It also seems like it's widget dependent to show in the lock screen but not notification center. Although that's not as big of a deal.

Now it would be great to find a tweak that will make the font smaller in the notification center widgets (Calendar specifically). Based on what David said, since LI is pulling in the standard notification, a tweak like that should also show in LI lock screen.

Has anyone gotten the twitter widget working? My just sticks at "Loading" (never loads my feed).

Is there any way to move or remove the status bar in the middle of the screen? I would love to be able to move it up under the date.

No problem. If you are looking for toggles on your lock screen you could try NCsettings, it has to be dragged into NC once installed but works pretty well.

You could use something like bytafont though i'm not sure if you can change just the lock screen.

Ok I've been checking this a few times throughout the day, and the messages appear under the SMS banner on the lockscreen. Tapping a message gives me options to Call, Mark Read or Reply. If I tap Reply it brings up the QR box (without unlocking the phone). So it definitely does work.

Maybe try changing some of the options in your BiteSMS/ISX settings?

Well, LI takes over for what you'd normally get...a dialog box.

If you get two alerts at once you're only going to see one of them on your LI5 screen. You have to switch your filter to see what else came up. I guess I can live with that. I did like the old version's way of popping open the collapsed sections of any new notification, email, etc that came in.

I also liked having a collapsible "Favorites" section. It's all or nothing with the widgets, it seems.

That Siri lockscreen bug has got to be fixed. Can anyone else confirm this? Add a reminder via Siri from the lockscreen and see if you can use the confirm, cancel or mic buttons. Also, check to see if there's an unwanted Notification Center pull-down handle graphic crowding the mic button.

I've had some stability issues too but haven't been able to narrow it down. Are you sure it is Bulletin? I know there are some bugs on an iPhone 5, but even after uninstalling I seem to have the same issues with phone lockups. Stability actually has improved after uninstalling Activator. Maybe there is a conflict there....?

I don't want to hijack this thread so if you want to PM feel free.

HTC Weather HD

Aside from the ability to hide the "slide to unlock" slider, I think the thing I miss the most is the HTC Clock HD addon. I would love to see a Notification Center friendly option like HTC Clock HD that I could throw onto the top of my lockscreen (though something that doesn't require Winterboard would be even better as I like to keep my phone light and clean). Unfortunately, I believe I read that all LI5 "themes" will need to be re-written and I don't see any on Cydia right now :(
