What better review than from actual users who have no stake or bias from the company to submit a good review or to garner likes/subs? :p

There’s a few cats on this thread alone who have it already so why not ask specific questions you want to know?

Ive had the apple keyboard and now this one and i can compare those two easily. Between the logitech and apple folio, i was using a logitech k780.

I enjoy a.s.k. Particularly with 10.5 for 18 months approx.
I like the light typing touch for my small fingers -I didn't enjoy the fact I went through three of them though one was warranty replacement one was chargeable replacement.-Though never fully understood it the fault was with a.s.k' or with 10.5 pro.
Only used11" a.s.k for past two or thre weeks and hopefully it lasts a few months or a year or two.
Next time I'll try Logitech and nice they have backlit option.
Is the Logitech considerably thicker and heavier or it's unnoticeable.
What is typing like is it light and fast or do the keys require more force to register on screen.
Those are my two considerations that maybe you could answer :)

Im trying to connect this case and am having NOTHING but issues with this. Have tried like 10 times, it does NOT connect, I put in the code that it keeps on giving me and it does NOT connect I rebooted the iPad twice and nothing happens honestly dont know what Im doing wrong

Edit: Ok I feel like such a fool you are supposed to press return after putting in the code LOL I did a youtube search and found it
Now I want to know..when the ipad is connected to the keyboard, if I want to unlock the ipad will I be able to use face ID with it or no?

All I ever do to unlock my ipad is to tap the space bar twice - works every time.

Yeah I got the connection to work, I didnt press return after I put in the code LOL..a few questions..first off, I assume we can still use Face ID even in landscape mode on the iPad Pro? Secondly I notice once the keyboard was fully charged that when its connected the battery indicator does NOT light up is that how its supposed to be? Also, the area where you put the apple pencil, the flap, when closed doesnt seem to cover up the entire area of the flap, not sure if Im explaining it right I assume its because the pencil is thick so it makes it harder to close

Yes you can use Face ID in landscape. That’s how the ipad i have is 100% of the time.
The battery lamp is not lit up when its NOT charging
The flap covers the pencil perfectly for me and its as expected. Perhaps post a photo of what you are tying to say say?

Hey there..enclosed is a pic..as you can see, ya know the flap area there is a square indentation showing where the flap goes..with the pencil attached it does NOT cover the entire area, only when there is no pencil attached does it cover up everything

Ahhhhhh i see . Maybe its designed that way for people who don’t have the pencil? Not everyone who buys this case will have a pencil so that extra space there makes sense to me... ?

EDIT: so yeah I just closed the flap with the pencil removed and it fit perfectly, so my speculation on why its like that seems sound...

Yeah I had the same thing, with the pencil attached its like how I post it above, without the pencil attached it fits perfectly..as long as you have it the same way as mine I know its OK. I called logitech yesterday and the guy said to look on the photo on the web site and how its just like it with the pencil attached so I guess thats how its supposed to be..with the pencil being thick and all I guess there is no way for a perfect fit

I had the apple smart folio and its trash. It’s cheap, the keys are cheap feeling, and the entire product is rubbish. The Logitech has a much better build quality, thicker case (I like that), better keys and the backlit option is much appreciated. Apple should have backlit keys standard. It’s no where near worth the price apple wants.

I had a Logitech k780 to hold me over until i got the brydge or Logitech (whichever came first) and it was nice. The BT connection on the logitech has been consistent. No lags. No issues.

My experience: have had all 3 flavors of iPad Pro 12.9 flagship models at launch. Have had all Logitech case options. This was the first time I used apples product because nothing else was out at launch.

Just ordered one

Backlit will be useful and better protection for my pencil when I take it work

Its a great keyboard I so far like it..just know when you connect the keyboard to your ipad, when it asks you for the code(When you go to bluetooth) after you type in the code using the keyboard, dont forget to press return..trust me I made that mistake and I tried like 10 times to get the code to work and for the device to connect til I realized that you have to press return after wards LOL

No worries..takes time getting used to always being in landscape mode..face ID kicking in is kind of weird, and some apps dont work good with landscape mode but otherwise its fine..also know that when the battery is fully charged(It will be bright green so you will know its fully charged, takes about an hour to charge fully) you will not see anything on the battery indicator icon on the keyboard, you will only see something when it needs to be charged again

Cool cheers, did you have to charge the keyboard when you first got it?

Yeah first I connected the keyboard and then when the keyboard was connected to the iPad I went ahead and charged it with the apple ipad charging cable, works just fine..I tried charging the case before even connecting it but nothing happened so it has to be connected first..some apps dont work good in landscape mode so I gotta turn my head to the side which is kind of annoying, I guess it depends on the app..I got microsoft office set up on the iPad but for some reason when I type using the keyboard the words show up at the bottom but NOT on the actual screen not sure what Im doing wrong

Just set mine up now and the typing experience is so much better than with the apple keyboard and it’s nice to have actual useful buttons at the top of the keyboard as well. And backlit so useful for later on in the evening too.

Just grabbed one today for my 11. Best buy had them. Im actually typing on it right now and its very satisfying!

Quality is top notch, but if you dont like the bulk dont get it.

Can owners of this confirm what the two keys to the right of the home button on the top left do? On the Logitech page, linked below, it says it alters screen brightness. All the reviews seem to say it alters the keyboard backlight.

I’d prefer screen brightness, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Mine should arrive on Wednesday.

Thanks.

It’s annoying, I’d find screen brightness far more useful more often than altering the keyboard brightness, which surely could have been coupled up with a modifier button. Use the screen brightness buttons all the time on my MacBook Pro’s in the past, although to be fair the auto brightness on iPads is pretty effective for me. It’s just I like to put on max brightness when watching video, then way back down again for other usages.

Logitech have it advertised on their site wrong as pictured above, tsk tsk.

Yeah how they say "Screen Brightness" is not describing what the button is actually for, it just changes the brightness on the keyboard backlight thats all..would be nice for them to have had a button for the actual screen brightness but they didnt not sure why..
When you receive yours, when you go to pair it and you have to put in the number code(When you set it up via bluetooth) press return button after you put in the numbers, otherwise it wont connect, trust me took me like 10 tries before I looked it up on youtube and realized oops no wonder its not working LOL..Also, once its completely charged, the battery indicator on the keyboard does NOT stay on anymore, it only turns on when you need to charge it again
