Seen it in a coffeeshop. Wasn't too enamored with it-- quite thick. Plus the ports stick out a little and look quite easily damaged. Not something I'd buy for work. For show, now, that's a different matter entirely and something it does _very_ well.

Personally i think that thing looks like crap and is worth maybe 100 dollars. At least thats what id be willing to pay for it. I think the HP's and Lenvo laptops look the best (for a windows laptop). Mac is still the king though. ;)

Looks aren't everything.

What about the price tag?...$1999

At that price, I'll take the MBP and a cup of coffee to go.

Yeah, if you're in high school.

How is that disgusting it's blue, it looks way better then hp's any day.

It's disgusting because it has random pointless accent stripes all over it, it's obviously rather thick, the "Dell" below the LCD and the trackpad don't' align, and most of all - how can you possibly think that looks better than ThinkPads.

If I took out a regular Acer laptop, you would say it looks ugly.

I helped choose a cheap budget-laptop (< 700) for someone I know, and it was an Acer. It looks ugly...and it has the exact same button designs and front buttons as that Ferrari laptop...the only difference is that the Ferrari laptop has red paint in some places.

There is no point in even comparing the MBP to this ugly Acer laptop with red paint and a Ferrari logo on it. And as someone said, the Sony laptops are a gazillion times better looking then this Acer crap.

Edit: Oh btw, the Acer Ferrari laptop weighs 6.7 pounds.

Have you seen it real life got one right here. those aren't accents there factory installed. as for it being thick it could beat a mackbook in battery life with a pentium 4 it get's over 4 hours.

beats my macbook

Macs may be pretty but there cases stain and suffer from color loss.

That thing is disgusting. The best looking PC's are the new HP's that are tryna look like Mac's... lol

Then you obviously havent heard about the Sony N-series laptops.

and that dell runs LOUD and HOT...not to mention the base is 2" thick by itself. My hall mate has one. So I would know. I can vouch for ThinkPads though, prior to the Lenovo takeover. Damn solid machines they are.

From what I can tell, the Lenovo has yet to change much about the ThinkPads. And I've always had ThinkPads back in the day.
