What actually helped a lot for me is disabling the Phone Noise Cancellation under Settings - General - Accessibility.

On my phone it was enabled by default when I upgraded to iOS 10.

[doublepost=1475183565][/doublepost]updated 2 days ago and can't hear anyone on the phone
[doublepost=1478449267][/doublepost]I have the same low speaker volume and phone call volume problem in my iPhone 6S after iOS 10 upgrade even after 10.1.1 update this issue not solved.

I updated my iPhone 6S to iOS 10 and as always I immediately reset all settings and configure it from scratch.

However I've noticed that the call volume and the speaker volume is way lower than with iOS 9 - and I have it set up to max volume. I compared it to my father's 6s, which is still on the latest iOS 9, and the difference is quite noticeable.

Has anyone else experienced this issue since updating your 6S to iOS 10????

My iPhone 6 went from iOS 8 to iOS 10 and I can't seem to increase call Bluetooth volume even when pressing up button. Says it's all the way up.
Then as soon as the call finishes the music that was playing blasts me.
Also I notice a few times when using a music streaming app it keeps playing the music while on a phone call and I have to quit the app.
iOS 8 never had this problem.

Contacted Apple tech support and got a real unhelpful, miserable, clueless ****** who just said to restore the phone. Asked him if he's heard about this problem and said no. Did not want to further investigate the issue or send him diagnostics report (which is what they usually do) and didn't even offer to escalate to engineering.

What a waste of time!

Have the same problem with my 5C

My brother recently purchased IPhone 6 and I am using iPhone 6s .. I noticed his phone speaker volume is much more than my phone .
I think I am experiencing same problem as yours ..
Do you find any solution?

After seeing two positive posts, I was hopeful this toggle will help me also. But it didn't. Off to service center this weekend.
Did service center fixed your problem ?

Honestly, I've been having the same issue. I keep my old iPhone 5s as an "iPod" (for lecture recordings, music, games, etc), and I currently use the iPhone 6. But I've only noticed lately the speaker volume quality difference between both phones, when at maximum volume level. I did, however, update my iPhone 6 to the latest iOS 10.2.1, unlike my iPhone 5s that's still at the iOS 9.1. Perhaps you guys are right about the volume difference pertaining to the iOS updates.

Have seen a lot of solutions that different people posted on this issue. Google "iPhone 6 volume issues" and you will find more info. A common fix is to suck out the earpiece screen (maybe not visible blockage but it doesnt take much to block audio in that fine mesh screen). Lots of reports that that solved the issue. Also another one I remember was if you had Facebook messenger app to turn off access to the mic for that app. No idea how that would help but I just remember seeing that.

The issue is that when the update is made, the button function to raise the ringer volume is back to factory settings of zero. So activate the volume in: “settings” “general” and “sounds”. Then the ringer volume will go back to normal after you select the button to use buttons . Look at the attached file. It works for me, hopefully it works for you .
