Knock off came in today. First impression is I love it. I hated how feminine the apple watch looked now it is quite rugged.

What a donkey that guy in the video is. He stated it took him 20 minutes to get it apart and back again. First time and I did it in under 5 minutes, next time it will be under 3. I think he wasn't very proficient with his hands. It is 2 screws.

The huge irony is that this knock off doesn't have the fatal flaw of the real deal. The crown functions as it should. Not 100% butter smooth, but it woks well.

We will see how the metal holds up to my abuse.

Worth the $32

It's stretchy. This is the only weak point so far. I have it on really tight, and it came apart on me at the gym last night when I was doing my deadlifts. I'm going to add a link and hopefully that fixes it. Because it is stretchy it is vey comfortable. Caveat being that it may not be strong enough for sports.

Detail shot of the inside. Having that rubber on your wrist is way more comfy then metal links. It is way more green then these photos show. I have gotten a ton of compliments so far.

How wide is the band for the 42mm version? I just ordered one from Aliexpress and would like to put a different band on it.

This unit was listed on Amazon so I purchased it. This unit was listed on Amazon so I purchased it. Three weeks later I received the case / band. Although the packaging seemed correct from the OEM it may have been a prototype or a counterfeit version? It fit OK. I wear it when I'm working on my boat as it seems to take harsh conditions. I'll watch functions are fully operational with the case. I like it because it makes the watch seem much larger as I normally wear 50 mm to 60mm watches and the 42 mm is tiny in my book ....hopefully the Apple Watch plus will be coming soon? On 1 to 10 give it a 9

I've looked all over this thread and I still can't find a link. Can you please provide? Thanks!

I bought it from this company. They appear to have stopped selling it. You might be able to email them and see if they come back into stock. They are all over Ali baba though so I'm sure they will pop back up.

Mine looks identical to the Amazon one above minus the band.

Most websites are claiming this is the only waterproof case for the Watch. On here people are saying it's not actually water tight. Is this true? Or are there 2 different models?

No way this case is water proof as the back is open so sensors can touch your wrist and case has seam down the center. The Apple Watch is water proof as I have submerged it several times while pulling drain plug on my bait tank.

watch is ipx7 water resistant. So it could survive a short amount of time in shallow water with no pressure. but I need it to survive harsher environments like my pebble would.
i thought the case could have a rubber gasket between the seams making it water tight. I don't know why there hasn't been a company that has made a durable and waterproof case yet..

While I wouldn't dive with it the watch is waterproof. I have been in the pool all summer with mine. No issues whatsoever.

Yep I picked mine up at Best Buy and I love it. many do not like it. It will replace the band as well. If you tighten it well it works wonderfully and makes the watch look like a G shock.

I watched a review that the dial didn't spin correctly with the case on, maybe he didn't tighten his properly, but are you feeling the same?

I have mine properly tightened and the crown works perfectly! Apple double tap works perfectly and most importantly it does a GREAT job of protecting my watch.

This is an incredibly well made watch case/strap, just wow. Definitely gets attention everywhere, may not be a good thing after all.

I got the silver link bracelet and it's super cool. Highly recommended!

I've had it for a month, and while it's a fine idea, I think there's something better.

My issue with this is the screws and the digital crown. If the screws are screwed in too tight, the digital crown does not work (either the crown button on the case gets jammed, and constantly activates Siri, or you can't turn the crown through the crown button on the case). If they aren't screwed in tight enough, they can fall out. I've now lost two screws, and I've had to order more.

I think it needs a redesign.

Just wearing this thing around, you may or may not be okay. If you're like me, and you bring it to exercise with, it's not too good.

Well, you said your experience is with the replica and not the real thing, correct? It took me like 10 minutes to get my Lunatik Epik apart, and I've put tons of things together, since I was a kid, with tools.

One screw came out practically immediately. The other one would not come out for some time.

Which have you got? The aluminum one? I was debating to go for the silicone bracelet but the link one was just pure eye candy so I went for it. So far the clamps is the only thing that digs into my wrist after wearing it.

No problem with the digital crown not functioning properly or Siri activating randomly because of activity. Will report back however on this when I get a bit more active with my watch.

Oh and by the way I opted out of getting a replica and got the legit one from Lunatik and no regrets as I knew they'd be digital crown issues.

This is what I bought: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lunatik...hite/7491016.p?id=1219683445736&skuId=7491016

I really wanted to like this thing. Read the reviews, and really believed it was really just a matter of finding the right tightness, to make everything both secure and operational. The problem is that's actually a hassle. I've loosened things just enough to make the crown work, and I was taking my watch off, when I got back home after my workout, the screw was gone. That's the second screw I lost. For that price, I really can't recommend it.

Well at least you gave it a shot, I'm already not looking forward to seeing Watch version 2 coming out which will make this case pretty much useless. Just hope Lunatik has plans to play catch up with Apple.

well I have the case from day one the legal black plastic one and I have never had a crown issue or a button issue and I love mine as it has kept it from being damaged or scratched so far!
