M1 orders from Adorama - fulfillment

Are there others here who purchased from Adorama for M1 (MBA/MBP/Mini)? How's the status of your orders and are you getting notified by Adorama directly or Apple for shipment?

I ordered late (12/7) for MBP 16/512 and other than order confirmation, next communication from Adorama is that it was submitted to manufacturer. When ordering, it stated 4-5 weeks shipment (not backorder).

I was charged within a day (12/8) for the order and haven't heard any updates.

Will Adorama or Apple notify me on shipment? How's the experience even to those who ordered much earlier (November/BF timeframe) or later?

As I stated in that B&H thread, I ordered the MBP 16/512 from Adoroma on 12/8 and received a shipping notification on the 12/24. You will receive an email from Adoroma when the device is shipped.

As of right now the package completed clearance, it came directly from Apple’s manufacturing center in China but I will let you know when it’s in my possession.

Nice to hear yours is actually moving. Hope to get that notification too. Mine still stuck as submitted to manufacturer with no further updates.

Just an update on mine ordered 12/7 mbp 16/512. Contacted Adorama but they do not have update to share yet.

So I contacted DHL because the tracking # I received have 4 pieces attached to it due to the order being drop shipped. According to customer service, DHL have to separate the pieces and provide new tracking numbers. I was told it should arrive between tomorrow and Jan 4th.

Meanwhile I got this response... Hope they are not just pulling information out of thin air.

I ordered a mini 16/512 on 12.21, Adorama support told me on Wednesday 12.30 that it was scheduled to be shipped from Apple the first week of January. We will see.

I checked on mine yesterday and they told me it was now scheduled to ship the second week of January. They had the config I was looking for in stock so I had them cancel the original and ship the in stock model overnight, it is supposed to arrive today.

Received today around 10:30. M1 mini absolutely screams, could not be happier with the performance increase over my 2015 MBP.

Still waiting for shipping notification for my 12/8 order of 16/512 MBP SG. Followed up and was told the same first week of Jan..

I ordered mine on 11/30 and it arrived 1/4. I got a shipment notice, but they erroneously listed it as a UPS tracking number, when it reality it shipped DHL.

Finally got a shipping notification from Adorama (not from Apple) tonight!

My status prior to this is Submitted to Manufacturer so was expecting it to be shipped from China (like others on the other threads).

Got UPS notification and it seems to ship from NJ.

Excited and looking forward to finally get my hands on it.

What still baffles me is Adoroma’s ordering process. You ordered a day before me and Adoroma recently shipped yours out. At least your Mac is finally arriving today.

True mate. seems random. I also was made aware of another who ordered mid December that received theirs last week, same config and color.

Anyway, will just be thankful will finally be able to unbox mine soon.
