How many of you will order from Adorama again?

After my experience with them shipping me a 2020 MBP 13 last June I swore I would never use them again. While it was nice to save $200, it was not worth the lack of communication and long (3 weeks) shipping delays.
I would for in stock. But backorder or dropshipped? Hmmm...

Just received my MBP 16/512 BTO. with $150 discount. Ordered on 12/30 received on 2/23. If I ordered directly to apple it’d take 3 weeks+ probably because of high demand. For the discounted price its not that bad, but they should inform customer time to time and should mention their website that it’ll take up to 1-3 months to deliver.
Yes that's the concern I have - lack of comms. Otherwise it has been good

Ugh, this is very frustrating reading everyone’s experience, doesn’t exactly encourage me. I ordered MBA 16/512 on 12/31 - submitted to Apple 1/4. Adorama is telling me the ship date is first week of March. This is the same timeframe if I ordered direct with Apple today. I don’t understand how it can take over 2 months for them to ship this, and without any remorse from Customer Service. For whatever it’s worth I did receive the $150 discount as well.

Any recourse or suggestions? Adorama couldn’t even guarantee the ability to cancel the order.
So a little update. I have checked a few times through chat and the date keeps getting pushed back to three weeks from whenever I ask. I finally called and expressed my frustration (hopefully without being rude) on last week and the agent gave me the run around again and offered to reach out again for a date even though it was showing the end of March. I got an reply saying it would still arrive end of March, and then shortly after I received a shipment notification.
My two main takeaways are that (1) something strange is going on with Arorama and their relationship with Apple. I’m hoping they get enough complaints that Apple takes a look at their relationship with Adorama. Something needs to change, there is no reason to take over 2 months to get this shipped when Apple has been shipping them in a 3 week timeframe.
(2) major customer service training is needed at Adorama. In all of my communication there hasn’t been a sense of empathy, I’m not asking for a discount like other have suggested, just a recognition that this is frustrating and doesn’t seem right to take this long.

Do NOT order from Adorama!

I ordered an M1 Macbook Air on Jan 2 from Adorama. They estimated 6-8 weeks for delivery. Today, I find out they requested an ETA from Apple and now estimate it will arrive at the end of April (16 weeks later!). I have been checking with support through this process too and they would just say "we don't have an update at this time".

But if I order on Apple.com today, it will arrive Mar 29-April 5.

16 weeks via Adorama. 2.5-3.5 weeks via Apple.

Very frustrated. I won't buy from Adorama again in a similar situation.

Update: I ordered from Apple. It shipped from China & will arrive only 12 days after I ordered it.
