I did. For no other reason than the screen on the M1 drove me crazy when using it in low light. That and the blur when scrolling.

M4 screen fixes both of these and was well worth it just for that. For me at least. Very happy with the upgrade.

Speakers don’t sound quite as full though. Which I feared would be the case based on less internal space.
I have never noticed a blur when scrolling...:oops:

I had an M1 IPP but never tried a MK. I also had a MBP that I used less and less over the past year. Traded both in for an IPP M4 with MK - basically an even swap cost-wise.

I have never noticed a blur when scrolling...:oops:
Compared to the iPhone the screen always looked a bit fuzzy when scrolling quickly up and down. Annoyed me from day 1. M4 is so much smoother feeling thanks to the better refresh rate of the pixels, not the screen, on oled (or whatever the technical reason is).
