Thanks, my order 12.9 SG wifi 1TB went through and delivery is promised for tomorrow. I have a major event Thursday morning so this device will be put into service quickly if it is delivered as promised.

I think they already have stocks with them, won’t that be why they’re able to offer same day delivery for Chicago area?

Just ordered this as well. If you sign up for an account, they also knock 5% off, which covers overnight shipping. My total is still less than I would have paid at retail.

Ordered the Silver 1TB 12.9” WiFi + Cellular. Now to cancel my T-Mobile order.

Good question. If Apple finds out, a warning maybe. It's curious though, considering Apple's penchant for draconian restrictions.

The fact that we have two retailers that are shipping/selling already makes me think Apple didn't put a hold this time. Apple just had a vague "releases 2nd half of May" during the keynote anyway.

I just called CDW and the rep told me they do have stocks so they're def shipping today as stated in the products page. EXCITING!

This exactly what I did. Same configuration cancelled through T-Mobile as well. Lol.
