I have issues all the time with palm rejection. For me it's the main weak point of Samsung tablets. I find OneUI clearly superior to iPadOS and while the hardware is overall inferior (less CPU power, worse keyboard, more reflective screens, but in some, less important, hardware things they are as good or better) the value for money is generally as good or better than iPads given the discounts.I have one. They are about the same but I do occasionally notice a palm input when I don’t want it but it is rare and the bezels are slimmer on the Samsung. Apple does a better job with palm rejection I will give you that.
Despite all the hate for Android and Samsung they offer a good product. They have always given me decent after sale support, Their products are good and generally last a long time, they give really good discounts and trade in value. Android has its ups and downs but so does iOS.
Nothing is perfect.
But palm rejection ruins it for me, it's not rare, it's constant, I can't watch a video without skipping back and forward all the time while holding the tablet to the point that I have to use an app that disable touch to watch a movie... It's that bad and it's the same with the S7+ (which I had and sold) the S7FE and the S8 ultra, which I both have.
Apparently Microsoft has the same issue, but I don't have a pro 8/X so I can't tell (my surface device have all large enough bezels, including the surface book).
PS I don't have fat hands, and I hardly ever have this issue with iPads
