I had some major bleeding on the bottom right corner of my M2 Air with only three weeks left of warranty. So I took it into my local Apple Store and it couldn't have gone smoother. He said no problem and I'll get it back in 3-5 days after repair. He also told me since I'm still within the warranty period I can add Apple Care if I want. So I added that just to be safe which was super awesome because I always thought within 60 days was the only time to add it. I also just got the computer back today and the display is mint now. No leak anywhere. I think he estimated cost was around 600 dollars but awesome to know that Apple took care of me.
Congratulations on your positive experience! However, high-end products like yours ideally shouldn't have these issues. It seems like a bit of a gamble; I've heard from many people who had to repeat the process to get a satisfactory display. While it worked out well for you this time, the outcome could have been different. Additionally, Apple benefited from your purchase of Apple Care. Hopefully, any future problems won't lead to receiving the old model as a replacement! 😉

Well to be fair the Air did get dropped on that corner of the screen and was barely bent. No charge for damage or anything all covered. I also bought the air refurbished. Side note for military people they offer an additional 10% off the normal refurbished price. So some great deals to be had. Ya, anything these days is a gamble when it comes to warranty. Thankfully, I’ve always been treated great by Apple even when an item doesn’t arrive when it’s supposed to.
