I ordered an iPad Pro 11 and a Mini. One package shipped on 11/2 and the other on 11/3. One is still in China and the other in Hong Kong, but they've both definitely been in transit since those dates. They started out in mainland China. I can't tell which is which, as one is 1.2kg and the other is 1.4kg.

The Apple website still says "preparing to ship" but that's not true.

Are you seeing that info through myUPS?

THIS is awesome! I, as I'm sure are others, can't wait to hear about your discoveries when opening it up.

I would be right there with you, but my wife INSISTED I sell my Mac Pro before purchasing another computer...

There is only one Mac Mini, but there are lots of fish in the sea. :D

(Of course I'm kidding)

post pics if you have the time

I will do. I'm an avid photographer with some very nice pro equipment. Actually I think after I install the RAM and verify all is working well I may just do a full teardown with photos. I've torn apart just about every computer I've ever owned. Several Minis too, so I have no issues tearing things apart or putting them back together.

Same here, 1.4 kg package shipped on 11/3 from Shenzhen, CN will be delivered on 11/7.

I only ordered a Mac mini. UPS my choice, way to go.

On the UPS site, my iPad's in good shape.. but suddenly my Mini has no delivery date.

Interesting thing. I ordered my mini within an hour after the keynote. Searched by reference number yesterday with my order number, minus the last two digits, and it came up scheduled for delivery on 11/7. (Apple still says PTS, of course.) I copied the tracking number associated with it so I wouldn't have to go back and do that again.

Today I track by the tracking number and it says, no scheduled date, check back later. I search by reference again and it's still 11/7.

Then a bit ago, tracking by tracking number switches to delivery by 11/12. Tracking by reference still says delivery by 11/7. I'm very unclear how the same package can have two different delivery dates associated with it. The tracking results look identical whether I track by tracking number or reference, with the exception of the delivery date.

That said, no way it takes until the 12th. It just landed in Alaska about three hours ago, and in my experience with launch-day Apple shipments, that is two days away at most, which would put it here on Wednesday.
