No. How shall I put it, "Been there, done that and I have the t-shirt". Mind you, all big sur and monteray compatible intel macs boast hyperthreading.

I heard some rumors, that there will be a chance for a solution not so far away ... i hope so, because for me the security problems with 11.2.3 is the main argument. When there is no solution in the next months, i have to sell my 5,1 and change to 6,1 or M1.
I'm panicking a little bit because of the security there's Gotta be a solution, I was just thinking outside the box sorry I'm not very good at spelling due to my dyslexia doesn't help
Maybe it's time to lock this thread until further developments are made. This thread is not helping developers right now with so much non-sense posts and the comment is that the thread derailed long ago.

If you are so worried about security, use Catalina. Supported till november 2022.
Totally agree, discussion is all over the place except the topic title. I don't understand why people discuss here non-related subjects, instead of opening new threads.
I would be more interested in hearing about the rumours of a solution...
There is no solution since the real cause of the KPs is not known.
Several developers are trying different approaches and workarounds to minimize the crashes and the risk of data corruption, if any workaround, or combination of, prove to be successful, it will be openly discussed when it's ready.
It´s an offline information from a friend ... and he had heard it from a friend. So its only rumors i think. I dont want to heaten the discussion here ... i have tested my MP5,1 with 11.3 and fom 10 Boots i have eight times success ... but i have had some KP after Sleep ... so i went down to 11.2.3 which works great for me.

I dont know, what an Apple Employe should know about patches from the community. But please back to topic. If at anytime a the issues are related, the community will find a way. But if not, then 11.2.3 will be the last Version. Easy at it is.
The problem is caused by changes in the OS. Anyone who might have a solution with a patch, would probably post here. If there are coming changes to the OS that would not cause these problems however... BTW: I'm not the one coming to the table with rumours probably without merit.

Latebloom - An experimental workaround for the 11.3+ race condition
UPDATE 27sep21: latebloom is now deprecated/unnecessary. Please see this thread for more information. I have created a kext that may provide a workaround for the Big Sur 11.3+ race condition. Alpha testing with a small group has provided encouraging results, so I'm now posting it publicly...
