So I just got the new iMac 2020 and have been running Big Sur beta on my MacBook and absolutely love it. Beta 4 doesn’t support the new iMac 2020 which is a bummer. When do we expect to see Big Sur Beta 5?

Same here! Can’t wait..

Fingers crossed! Big Sur is gorgeous IMO, love the clean look.
I can't disagree. I'm on the public beta, having picked up a i5 Mac mini to use it to play with Big Sur. I don't use much other than Microsoft 365, and the stock Apple apps. Add in Transmission/Handbrake, and that's the lot for me.
Hasn't missed a beat for me, and with the probably longer time until release, and how stable it is right now, it should be the best macOS release in many a year.

Yeah, other than a very nasty SMB issue I've not had any real stability problems to note so far.

News of beta 4 dropped around 1:40pm PDT August 4 on Macrumors and 9to5, so I'd guess if it's happening today, we have until 2pm PDT to see something pop.

Edit: I've only loaded Big Sur starting with dev beta 4 on my iMac, and have only had issues so far with Little Snitch (new v5 builds based on the Network Extension framework). Adobe CC products, Transmission, Music, Mail, Reeder, Spotify, etc. work as expected. Pretty happy with it overall.

As a designer - the only thing that bugs me with the black CC logo in the toolbar :)

Hey Adobe - let's fix this!

I had a problem installing twinmotion with B4. I hope B5 loves that, but I wouldn't hold my breath about Epic helping to resolve software issues on MacOS for the moment.

Some other apps, like Viber, have the same issue. It's annoying but I'm sure it'll be addressed once Big Sur is officially released.
