Apple doesn't officially support Windows 10 on the cMP 5.1. I couldn't use Bootcamp Assistant to install Windows 10 on cMP 5,1. This workaround worked for me on High Sierra: Mac Pro Bootcamp help
Bootcamp wont even open in my High Sierra stating that it is not compatible with my mac

I have used Paragon's Hard Disk Manger (there are Mac and Win versions – I use the Mac version) to copy partitions and volumes. It gives an incredible number of options around converting MBR and GPT+MBR records, formatting/copying/wiping partitions etc. I have copied and restored my entire Win10 volume numerous times and it's preserved the boot capability better than any other app I've used. Not mentioned much here, but a stellar piece of software IMHO.

The bootcamp utility in HS works here.

Recently I installed Win 10 on a spinner using bootcamp. I decided a couple of days ago to move that install to an SSD (2.5” sm840 Pro drive mounted on a PCIe cart) using WinClone Pro. The partition was resized automatically and all went fine.

I booted and found that trim was automatically enabled, and it’s running in ACHI mode with no legacy IDE entries showing in the device manager. Everything is working great.

Now, can someone tell me how to determine if I’m running in UEFI mode or not?

1) Windows key + R
2) enter "msinfo32"
3) Check BIOS mode

I followed another link from a thread on here also about boot camp and said on the 5,1 if it doesn’t work reset the nvram. I followed the nvram reset procedure and no it won’t even boot. On startup monitor turns on and then nothing no apple screen turns white for 30sec and turns off
*****update
Ok if I hold option and go to boot manager I can select my Mac disk and boot. I was curious and went to boot camp and it works! Nvram reset did get it to open now I imagine the boot issue will be fine with boot camp setup to have an ego drive and windows.
