My point isn't that liquid can't accidently get into the cMP enclosure. My point is that it's less likely to happen compared to an open top design such as that used in the nMP

I agree that it's less likely to happen with the old design than the new; but I don't agree that it is a "design flaw" or that it is a big enough problem, statistically speaking, that the design needs to be changed to be less susceptible to liquid spills.

Apple has said that the design has to be changed because it fails to meet customers' needs - regurgitating felines not mentioned.

Let's hope that someone slaps Jony hard enough so that he realizes that the tower form factor has been around for so long because it's a pretty good solution.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that the long lead time for the MP7,1 means that Apple is going for another tour de force that will be beautiful - but like Cube 1.0 and Cube 2.0 will fall short of meeting customer's needs. (Or should I say "Tube 2.0"?)

I hope that HP has people waiting to do a new "Mac to Z" ad campaign when the MP7,1 drops. If the MP7,1 is Cube 3.0 it will be so easy.
