Mac Pro: How much electricity does yours consume?

If anyone cares...

Mac Pro 1.1, 3.0 x 8-core, pair of NVidias, 4 internal HDs, 4 x 24" LCD's... pulls 1050 watts at start-up, 650 at idle, 800 at cruise, 1000 under heavy load. Measured with a digital multi-meter.

Had to split components between 2 UPS units with the solo one beeping like crazy cause it couldn't keep up with the power demand. It's like a 550va or something. Sprung for a 2000va for the 2nd. Things are quiet now.

Bring out your dead.

APC for the 550, "Prime" (no-name I got off eBay) for the 2000.

Mac in the small one, actually, monitors + external drives +etc in the 2k.

Yikes!

My 5,1 is 168W idle, but I don't have all those extra monitors and GPU.
