I picked mine up a week ago at the Apple Store. I love it so far though I think that I should have ordered one with 64 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD. I won't know until I'm running all of my production so I will likely keep the base Studio. If I need more, then I'll just also use the M1 mini to supplement.

Glad I got mine over the summer. It's incredibly powerful and makes the wait easier for the new Mac Pro which probably won't be shipping anytime soon.

I ordered my build to order Max 10-32, 64GB RAM, 1TB on 16th November from Apple online with estimated shipping 8-15 December and it arrived Thursday 24th đź‘Ź

Refurbish Mac Studio Ultra 20-48 128GB 2TB Model G14K6LLI/A ordered 1/9 for 1/13 Apple in-store pickup now missing between UPS and Apple Store.

Invoiced/notified+ CC charged Jan 10, but didn't received the expected pickup notification on 1/13. I called and was told "it's confirmed at the store", was transferred to store which told me "not here, so try again tomorrow after our next regular delivery".

1/14 - Called again, Apple confirmed the delivery and shared UPS tracking number showing "proof of delivery" on 1/12. Transferred to store again and staff explored "that days manifest" to confirm "they didn't receive it" with a suggestion to open a claim with.....<drumroll>...UPS.

I'm now at my wit's end trying to figure out how to accomplish my singular goal of getting a Mac Studio in the configuration I wanted without weeks/months of investigative finger-pointing between UPS/Apple.

If anyone has any suggestions....<sob> please help.

I have had tracking numbers before with UPS that showed "Delivered" but the package didn't show up for another two days. In this case it may show up at the store on Monday. If it doesn't I would visit the store in person and talk with a Manager. Document everything that happens and everyone you talk to; ask for paper copies of their documents if you go in person.

If a personal visit to the store still fails, contact UPS and if they don't help, contact your credit card company and request a refund of the charges. They can investigate, and Apple will pay more attention to them. In every contact with any of the companies, DO NOT get angry with them or threaten them with legal action; be firm but polite. You will get better cooperation that way.

Let us know how it all turns out.

Ordered a Max (w/ 32 core GPU), 64GB RAM and a 1TB SSD along with a Studio Display, Magic Keyboard w/ Touch ID & Num Pad and a Magic Trackpad in the wee hours of December 31st. Apple estimated a delivery date between the 17th and the 19th for the Studio.

Received the Studio Display, keyboard and trackpad on January 4th and the Mac Studio on January 9th.

Are they accurate with shipping times or have they been showing up early?
Mine arrived just over a week early. Apple always has a tendency to underpromise and overdeliver on shipping timelines. I'd actually be surprised if you placed an order now and it doesn't arrive earlier than estimated.

yeah, box is in my hands now. when it was shipped, the estimated delivery date was Feb 1st, and then it kept being revised to an earlier date. funny enough, I'm not yet ready to actually set it up and use it, so might be a couple of days before that happens

After my debacle with the refurb iMac Pro, and the refurb company starting to take longer and longer to respond to emails regarding my refund, I saw the discount at Costco yesterday and went for the following brand-NEW non-REFURB Mac:
  • M1 Mac Studio - 10 core CPU, 24 core GPU, 32GB Unified RAM, 512 GB HD
  • Apple Studio Display 27"
And it's not a long wait for delivery either. Only a day or two.

While I realize Apple's own refurb would be top-notch, and something I wouldn't hesitate over, I decided to go for the brand-new one anyway.

I have finally received both my new Mac Studio and Apple Studio Display. Both are fantastic and I love them!! I hear no noise on the Mac Studio. It doesn't even sound like it's on.
