The current situation is difficult for everybody. We have COVID, the war in Ukraine..People are dying and suffering as we speak now..We should put things into perspective. I understand your disappointment but be patient..
Not to mention getting frustrated wont change a thing except one's blood pressure, which is not a good thing. I want my Studio NOW too but it just isn't worth worrying about.

So, I’m thinking about this whole situation and actually getting a little frustrated and angry. I don’t blame Apple. They have their manufacturing and other lead times, and I don’t think they necessarily anticipated this level of demand. My anger and frustration is with UPS (and other carriers). I think it’s completely unfair that they can quote a delivery date and then just arbitrarily change it with no reason or justification. (And yes, I realize this is ultimate first world problems.) I get that COVID and other circumstances have disrupted things, but they’ve had over a year to create contingency plans and make accommodations. These delivery companies can basically keep delaying things and we have no recourse.

Okay, sorry. Rant over.
To piggyback on your comment to talk about estimates, here's my take on how they work.

I've seen a lot of comments in this thread that seem to imply that UPS has some sort of sophisticated system for quoting estimates at the individual package level, and I don't think that's true at all. If you look at their zone maps and the update patterns that we've seen, it looks like they simply group areas into zones and have a matrix of times that it takes to travel between each pair of zones. They then update a package's estimate periodically when there's a scan, when the local facility closes for the day without delivering a package estimated for that day, or in some other cases when a rule (seemingly distance based) indicates that an estimate needs an update (what I think happened with 3/26 10:15p getting pushed out two days).

I think their matrix of transit times is basically fixed at what would happen in normal times, or at least updated infrequently. For example, the ground map on the UPS website for my zip code shows a last update of 11/01/2021. It's also worth noting that they usually post service advisories about potential delays in specific places, but don't provide different shipping estimates, lending more support for a relatively fixed estimation system. In normal times, you can see something from shipped from Shenzhen on Monday or Tuesday and easily make a Friday launch day, so that's probably where our estimates came from.

Before the past two years, most initial estimates (from UPS and FedEx) that I got were pretty accurate. It's been messier since then, with some being fine, others bouncing back and forth, and still others being late. I think it just is what it is. Shipping is very much a low-margin business, and they probably don't think better estimates are worth the cost (and are probably right in the aggregate).

(Here's hoping for a departure scan soon for our group!)

My base MAX with 1TB ssd jumped from processing to shipped in the last few hours. According to MY UPS "The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release" and sitting in Shenzen. Apple says it arrives late next week and UPS is promising it late this week. My original estimate was April 7-14. Destination: USA.

I'm after the call with Apple. I was informed that my Studio has arrived in the Netherlands from China and is now waiting calmly for DHL to take action. The delivery date is still unchanged - April 1. Additionally, Apple support did a quick call with DHL, and they say they haven't scanned my package yet. I was counting on delivery before 1 April, but it turns out that DHL is in no rush 🙃

While I'm not personally bothered by a slight delay (other than the apparent excitement of getting it), once UPS has possession of an item, they are responsible for being more accurate. Or provide a different estimate until they are sure they can deliver on the promised time. Many of us, myself included, will be using this device for work-related projects. I had a delivery date of today between 10-12. That was a precise delivery date that is not occurring, so I now have to make contingency plans until I get it.

Also, these UPS flights are contracted by Apple, so they should know exactly how much cargo is being transported and what aircraft availability they have.

I personally just wanted an accurate date to make better plans around it (placing it where I want, transferring data, etc)

When did you get your DHL tracking code?

I guess I can presume that my Studio is also in the Netherlands, as I got mine on the 22nd. I'll try to keep my nerves together and avoid annoying Apple's customer reps over the phone about it, since my Apple ETA is for Friday.

Unfortunately, we have to wait. If we do not receive shipments on April 1, then Apple support can do more than now. Now they can only establish general information about end-tracking as well as whether their internal bulk transport has arrived to final destination, or is delayed, etc.

Looks like Apple is shipping about a week in advance of the minimum dates, but the shipping process itself is a pain

My Mac Studio is finally at my city, but I feel like it is too late to be loaded on trucks. Please deliver by today UPS.

Arrived in anchorage at 11:06pm last night and is still there.
Same here. However, they missed quite a few updates with my display, with it jumping from China to a nearby city without any of the usual departure notifications. Hopefully the same here.

It looks like Apple's website dates (at least right now) aren't more accurate than UPS, just more conservative. Apple continues to promise Apr4 delivery despite my Mac passing US Customs last night. UPS forecasts tomorrow by 7 which seems optimistic.

Same. I wonder if it will ship to Worldport or straight to San Francisco (I'm in CA).

I want to put an order in for an Ultra, but the delivery times keep staying the same. Yesterday, expected delivery was June 30th, it is now July 1st.
Does everyone see the same?
I cannot see a reason to order one now, and have the money sit on Apple's account for three months while I wait.
I don’t see any supply woes getting better. So waiting 3 months to put your order in,(to wait even longer) doesn’t seem like the move either.

I get 7/1 delivery is a joke but if you’re waiting anyways, why not wait with an order placed?

My package is out for delivery! Usually I get this by 6:00 AM, so I was losing hope because it is 9:00 AM, but now it says it out for delivery five minutes ago!

Mine is in Anchorage also. Missed the flight last night due to customs. Wonder when the next flight is to Louisville.

For what it's worth, I ordered on 3/8 and Apple charged me on 3/21, I think this was once it finally toggled to "preparing to ship".

I'm convinced UPS have no idea where my Mac Studio is... I'm slightly concerned they haven't been seen since 3am this morning?!
