I got pretty excited that my customized Mac Studio supposedly will arrive a month earlier than expected. However, since it has arrived in Chek Lap Kok, HK on Apr 2 there has been no movement whatsoever. Apple support claims the information given by UPS is incorrect and the package will show up "sooner or later". However, as a working person, how am I supposed to schedule delivery if UPS tells me "Check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date"? Also, when going to UPS, they want to charge for any holds or delivery changes.
After calling Apple, they explained that they can make changes to the delivery for free, but the whole process does not seem very transparent to me.
Did anybody ever have a similar experience with a customized product from Apple?
