According to Anand's Twitter, he has already received the MBAs and has ran a bunch of tests on them. I would say we will see the review next week.

i told myself i was gonna wait for Anand's review before taking the leap, but i got impatient :D still looking forward to the review tho

He is taking his sweet time :D . But you can't have thorough and fast. I do wonder why Apple didn't grace him with some Air's before their actual release date? Was that his wish?
Oh well, actual user's experience made me go buy one, once the HT/turbo boost -storm in a teacup- went away. I do need my technical review fix though.. :D

CNet's 11" MBA review now up

note the battery drain test with the new MBA slightly better than last year's model

Good stuff. The 3DMark06 reads ~3700. That's decent. Better than the ~2700 that the Samsung Series 9 is getting. I wonder if that's the due to Apple using the more recent Sandy Bridge chips in the MBAs?

Or maybe the Samsung Series 9 just sucks and Macbook Air is too good. :)

I'm a Windows guy but I'm impressed with what Apple has done with the Air. All that at a competitive price point.

Back to Series 9. I've looked at other laptops that feature the 17W Sandy Bridge CPU(very few of them though). I don't know, the Series 9 just seems to perform really bad. They run like they turned Turbo Mode off completely.

Mobile Tech Review video review of the 13" is up. i like Lisa's takes on her video reviews. i believe they will also have an 11" video review soon as well. :)

not a review, but a great benchmark site, barefeats, has already started on these pups (as first pointed out in this thread).

One of the most helpful so far. None of the sugarcoating and useless Geekbench crapolla. And I love the fact that they are using the i7 on the MBA (I'm fairly certain it will be rare to find reviews using the i7) and all Mac laptops used for the comparisons are equally using SSDs. Thanks, nebulos.

Hmm, I'm also looking for further news of 11" battery life and found this promising (a 13 minute increase over the 2010 11" under their video test) but then noted that in the same test, the 2011 13" MBA ran for an additional 108 minutes compared to the 2010 model..
