I hated it. I guess I'm so used to the iBook keyboard that my brain is wired a different way, but the spaces in between the keys really threw me off. I kept hitting the keys next to the ones I meant to hit. It was a total mess.

I think the current iBook keyboard had a big learning curve for me, but that once I eventually got used to it, I found myself having trouble with other keyboards. Looks like now I'm eventually going to have to play that game again?

I wonder if keys on the new keyboard would be as easy to replace as on previous 'books? That screen is way too glossy though. I don't like glossiness.

I HATE the glossy screens. That was one of the things I couldn't stand about PC laptops, I loved the way the Powerbook and iBook screens were. The screens look like **** now.

Going 100% shiny is an interesting tack. Most wintel manufacturers still offer the option of low gloss screens yeah? I'm all for whiter, brighter (and while I'm at it, better larger gamut please) screens, but I'm wondering how these new shiny screens will work in color critical jobs?
Just another reason to suck it up and grab a MBP (for me at least).
Still, wicked consumer laptop. I'd get one if I could affor a desktop workstation in addition (in both cost and space).
Did you just say the glossy screen on the MacBook is all the more reason to get a MacBook Pro? Because I think your too late, they upgraded the MBPs to glossy as well.
With Macbook Pro's you have the option of getting the glossy screen. Don't try to spread false information please.
