Yeah, unless theres a handcuff attachment sold separately, I can see a lot of people getting their laptops stolen while walking or on the subway.

I was actually interested in this. My only concern was that it looked kinda of bulky from user photos and I was worried that the bubbles inside might mar the finish. They never mentioned whether its sold cloth or if its some rough type of texture.
Mine will arrive Wednesday. I'll let you know.

Was literally about to order the Pack & Smooch -- but, realized that there's *no* padding -- it'll protect from scratches, but definitely no protection from drops/impacts...

It looks VERY nice, but, I want a bit of protection along with my fashion sense..
Yeah it's definitely not the case for you if you want drop protection.

I might actually have to sell mine, because I'm thinking about cancelling my MBP order now that we seem to be getting screwed in the UK and the battery life reviews are dismal, which is critical for me. So depending on how the return policy works, I may end up putting it up for sale when it arrives

I ended up ordering the Amazon Basic sleeve, its cheap and has good reviews. I will use it till incase launches their icon sleeve for the new Macbook Pro

What's the difference between that product and a regular piece of microfiber cloth like this one?

Thanks
Without having the Amazon product in hand to feel and test on an older computer, I can't tell you. It may do just as described for a lot less money. Seeing how I have hands on experience with Radtech, I plan to use them when their new cloth is released.

for all I know, the bubbles is soft and shockproof, I first saw a sleeve with bubbles interior, it's a little interesting

Thank you. Will give Radtech a try this time.

Any brand to watch for a clear silicone protector for the keyboard?

Can someone recommend a backpack style case that has a water bottle holder. I really like the Incase ICON cause its sporty, casual, but could also be used at the office but sadly doesn't have a side water bottle pocket.

Anyone have any suggestions

I already have a bag I'll be using, but wanted a nice sleeve to protect my new rMBP 13 from bouncing around inside and rubbing up against other items (the main/protective computer slot is already taken up by my business 2015 rMBP 15").

I purchased this from sfbags.com/Waterfield Designs: https://www.sfbags.com/collections/macbook-sleeves/products/macbook-suede-jacket-sleeve

Cheap, simple, quality product ... it's basically a MacBook "condom" :) It's a snug fit. Material is pretty heavy and durable. $29.

I can say it's cloth like the rest of it. I ordered this case in the grey color. The whole inside is cloth including the extra bump things.

So my 13" MBP arrived and I slid it in my Waterfield sleeve with the magnetic seal. Fits like a glove. But all of a sudden I began to worry about there being a magnet that I slide my laptop over every time I put in or take out my laptop. Aren't you supposed to keep magnets away from any computers? Should I worry? One would think Waterfield is aware of this. I just don't want my sleeve messing up by new laptop!

No, that sort of magnet will cause no problem.

I looked on Amazon, and the Moshi cover wasn't there. Moshi has it on their site. I just ordered it. Between the Radtech cloth and the keyboard cover, I should be good to go.

I'm intrigued by the Moshi keyboard cover. I wonder if it would make the new 2016 MBP keyboard a bit less noisy? On the flipside, I wonder if covering the keyboard affects how the MBP releases heat? I've heard that Apple counts on all air holes/spaces in how it manages removing heat from inside. A relevant concern or overanalyzing things?

I ordered the Radtech screen saver/keyboard cover as well.

Consider that there are magnets built into the base and the screen to keep the lid shut, and, up until this generation, also had magnets in their power connectors.

The keyboards don't provide ventelation in any way whatsoever on this nor the previous MBPs.

The bottom of the keyboards are covered with a plasticky paper with adhesive around the edges that seals around all edges of the keyboard. It's not open for airflow in the least.

Thanks. Waterfield got back to me and apparently magnets do not effect SSDs. :D
