I bought the clear iPearl hard plastic case for mine. It fits good, well vented bottom and has two tabs that flip down on the bottom to elevate it for better heat dissapation and makes it better for typing I think. Can't really say how durable it is but for $25 I'm happy with it.

Still nothing in Canada.
I was near the border, called Walden Galleria, nothing there either.

I would highly suggest Wenger (swiss army) bags if you're going the backpack route. I've had the Ibex version for 5 years and it is still in prime condition. My brother has had the Synergy model for 6+ years and his is also in great form. These bags can take an unbelievable amount of abuse. They have a pretty well padded computer compartment in each. I personally like to use an incase sleeve on my macbook which fits nice and snug into this compartment.

I also like bags with a lot of compartments and room for a number of gadgets, which these more than provide.

I would also think northface would possibly have some quality packs but have not tried any personally.

Also have heard some good things about Thule, but again have not tried personally.

Those look exactly like the Kuzy cases. I'd be shocked if they're not the exact same thing.

Actually they are not the same. The Kuzy case does not have a cut out for the Apple logo and you can't fully see it. To know this, i read the customer reviews. Now I bought the WORLDSHOPPING case and it fully shows the logo and it is very sleek. I'll attach a picture of it on my Macbook. I love it.

EDIT: That is NOT light bleed from the case, just my camera. There is no light bleed obv because theres no light bleed on the mac without the case in general. There would probably be light bleeding and radiating if there was no cut out, but this case has a perfect cutout. Just want to clarify if anyone asks.

So, you are saying that there is a cut out for the Apple logo? If so, that actually makes the case worse IMO. That's just another opening to allow debris in that can potentially cause scratching under the case.

It's actually working out fine for me. Not a scratch. This case is actually temporary as my Maclocks security case comes in.

Not a fan of cutouts, top or bottom.

Grabbed a Branthaven 15" ProStyleII XF messenger bag yesterday, $50 Bestbuy.ca

I currently have the Incase Frost on my MBP. I am upgrading to the Retina and I like the Frost color. I dont like the completely transparent case. Is there a Frost case out there for the Retina model?

Is the case on the link that you mentioned a good case?

I don't have it myself, but for awhile it was one of the few options available before Speck came out with theres. I've read good and bad reviews for it, and since I never tried one myself I can't say. My wife has an iPearl (another off brand) on her MBA and it's held up pretty well and that's saying something since she is not consciously careful with her tech like I am. :D
