I'm definitely out, beast of a machine, can't justify the price when it comes with that notch without Face ID, bezels aren't thin enough either

A lot of us buying these are doing so to make $ on them, not really to measure the bezels as we make that $.

Ordered the 16-inch M1 Pro with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD.

I don’t do any video editing, so I assume the base RAM should be fine.

Tuesday delivery.

Website was crashing but ordering in the app worked flawlessly.

As I say...always use the iOS app...

You definitely dont need m1 max, it has a 32 core gpu, you won't even use the gpu, get the m1 pro it has a 16 core gpu. even that is overkill.

The decision comes down to if you want 32 gpu cores and 32gb ram, which is a lot unless you are doing work that is pushing that kind of hardware already.

Ordered the 14-inch with 1TB SSD. Delivery date is between November 3rd and the 5th. I couldn't justify spending $500+ for the 16-inch.

FYI something interesting for my order - got an immediate charge for about $190 on my card, I suppose that related to the AirPods 3rd gen portion of my order. Haven’t gotten a pending charge for the MacBook Pro portion of my order yet.

Not for you, you won't even use the extra cores in the gpu, it's for professional video editors.

You'll be throwing your money away on something you won't even use.

Get the base 16"

Ordered same config, delivery just a week earlier. Had some problems with the bag throwing an error - both in the app and on the web.
