Here is a tutorial on how to get a dark mode toggle packed into an Automator workflow on the Touch Bar. I presume it works like that for any other Automator workflows you want to have on the Touch Bar aswell.

Definitely no public release for everyone as we haven‘t even had a Golden Master yet. At best, we get a Golden Master today and the official release a week later. Historically however, the macOS releases have oftentimes been a week or so after the respective iOS release, so it‘s also possible that we won‘t see a Golden Master of Mojave until next week or so.we'll probably see a release tonight?

iTunes is largely a stand-alone app. So OS updates won't severely impact its performance. The app itself has to be rewritten. Also speed is relative depending on what hardware you use.just 2 questions.
