The current version of Mojave patcher just downloaded the Dev 4 version for me. However with patcher version 0.1b10 it will never fully boot even on a 2015 Macbook pro.

Because my tester computer is a 2011 iMac with 780m in it so there is no boot screen. After having it sit for 40 minutes with no graphics initialization my only option is to boot it on a machine where I can see whats happening.
Target Disk Mode?

I also was not able to boot into usb after latest download and patch

Mac mini 2011
@dosdude1 Did Apple break something or is this the tool in need of updating?

I formatted a usb titled macOS and created a patcher with version macOS Mojave Patcher 0.1b10 and I hit option during boot up on my iMac 9,1 and it appears OSX base system so I checked disk utility and it appears correctly as macOS but I booted from it and it won't go to the second phase of the boot process just hangs

Absolutely the best investment you can make to breathe new life in your machine! You will more than feel the difference. That and maxing out your RAM are essential. The procedure is not that difficult but make sure you get their cheap toolset. A friend to help with the screen can help. You won't regret it.
I've done it quite a few times, removing the "glass" is easy, the connectors to display which there are 4, that's another story, they are delicate, however, if you take your time it's not that difficult. Actually, only 1 is a little trying and that the last one, far right as you look at the display. The other 3 are relatively easy. BYW you can make the SSD swap without disconnecting all the connectors, especially the last 2.

If you are going to do this, be REALLY careful with the connectors especially to the PSU. They get brittle over time from heat inside the iMac and can easily fracture even when handled gently.
I agree, it is a great speed upgrade.
While you are in there, take the opportunity to blow out the fans with a can of air BUT hold them so they don't overspin and damage the bearings. A small interdental brush is great for cleaning the fan vanes. Also, replace the onboard button battery—the BR2032 is hard to find but a CR2032 will do just as well. Again, be careful not to apply too much force to the metal top cathode spring arm if that is the design. It can easily break off if levered up too much. Also blow out the vanes in the GPU and CPU heat sinks. They can get plugged (especially if you have pets) and cause overheating in what is already a marginal thermal design (IMO).
Small hands are big plus when reconnecting the screen connectors.

There was a problem with the camera and with the definition of USB.
MacBook Pro 5.5 now works as it should!
It is necessary to make so:
Burn bootstrap with patch HighSierra 10.13.5 from here http://dosdude1.com/highsierra/
From the image, select two IOUSBFamely.kext and IOUSBHOSTFamely.kext from the System / Library / Extensions
Then in Mojave, run the Kekst Utilities program and drop these two keksts
Enter the password twice when processing the caches and at the end, restart the computer.
The camera and USB ports work correctly.

Thank you for this decision!

Sorry @qoob I have the same model only change the type of ram (8GB 1067) I tried to do as you say, extracted the two kext from h.sierra and replaced in mojave (PB 2) but does not work on restart I get a nice KP ... ...
I'm probably wrong with something or the two kext are different .... I do not come to the head

I couldn't agree more, as far as speed goes there is no comparison, SSD's definately have a substantial advantage over traditional HD's. My startup time is about 30 seconds, as far cry from the 1 TB spinner that was replaced with a Samsung EVO. I was trying to remember which connector it was that's tricky. Great info nekon1.

You may want to check out my mini-thread with @Banan4eto starting back at #2905 or so. See if that works for you. Bottomline, (sometimes) starting FaceTime first and waiting (patiently) for it to prompt for a restart "reconfigures" your iSight for proper streaming. No guarantees, but it worked for me on my 5,3 with the original kexts from Mojave.

The macOS Mojave Beta 4 installer app version is 14.0.14
[doublepost=1531812246][/doublepost]For some reason I got no updates in System Preferences so I installed the public beta profile and got an update for public beta 2 that I thought was already installed.
[doublepost=1531812415][/doublepost]I currently have build number 18A326g. Which version is that?

edit: Rechecked Apple Developer Releases, Internet Archive and MacRumors forums, so now I think I corrected all releases and added their dates:

20180604 Developer Preview 1 = 18A293u
20180619 Developer Preview 2 = 18A314h
20180626 Public Beta 1 = 18A314k
20180703 Developer Preview 3 = 18A326g
20180706 Public Beta 2 = 18A326h
20180716 Developer Preview 4 = 18A336e

"picture, or it did not happen" ;-)
This is on the MB Air 4,1 with Mojave build ..326h.

I read you have a MBA4,1 , and do you have updated to the Mojave beta 4 ?
If so, could you try my Mojave Night Shift patch maybe the one on page 87.

I'd want to know if a Mojave beta 2 patched CoreBrightness could work still on Mojave beta 4.
If it doesn't work it's perhaps cause I didn't included the MBA4,x , but it seems I included.
Do not worry this is not an invasive test, you could revert back easily.

This test is extended also to others who own an unsupported Mac with Mojave beta 4 and desire the native night shift feature instead using third party apps.

Developer Preview 1 = 18A293u
Developer Preview 2 = Public Beta 1 = 18A314k
Developer Preview 3 = Public Beta 2 = 18A326g
Reissued Developer Beta 3 = reissued Public Beta 2 = 18A326h (Feedback app corrected)
Developer Preview 4 = 18A336e

Thanks for that. I’m downloading the reissued DB3/PB2 I guess.

The Mojave Patcher is not suited for booting on supported machines but only on unsupported machines, obviously.

You have not to update your main HS, instead you have to install it over another partition on your internal drive or better on an external usb drive.

Anyway Apple often update their catalogURLs so you have to wait a bit for a new dosdude1 release of the Mojave Patcher or updating scripts.

And if you (not only you but anyone else) want to be included in the Mojave Patcher Post Install Mac model should specify their Mac Model. For example from what you have written your Mac Model could be one of these: MacBookAir4,1 or 4,2

I have a MacBookAir4,2
