So how's Mojave doing on everyone's macs? I find it a tad bit slower on graphics performance but otherwise seems ok over high sierra
Xcode also went Gold - a good indication that we're there. If there is an update, it will be very minor.I don't know about GM, but maybe DP11 is the GM... Pages, keynote and numbers updated last day to night mode... So, apple is updating all their apps to final release.
It's because of your GPU. As stated on my webpage and in the OP, graphics acceleration does not work with Radeon HD 5xxx and 6xxx series GPUs. At this point, I am strongly considering actually PREVENTING the installation of Mojave on systems with these cards, as too many people are complaining about these issues despite them being outlined. Is it better for an iMac 27 2011 (iMac 12,2) to go with Sierra or High Sierra? Because I'm having way too much issues on Mojave. At first my screen was kind of with inverted colors, then I had to delete a kext. Since then I can't play any video formats.. I play a video file and it shows onlu audio. There's also the tabs in finder with an weird glith sometimes..
Should I hope for a more stable final version or downgrade already?

Thanks Dosdude1. I try to run it again and I got this message. So I cancel and it looks it will not be possible on my MacPro 3,1 ??????????No, you can go ahead and run it again.

Re-install Legacy Audio Patch using Patch Updater.

@dosdude1 Maybe you can investigate the APFS issue. Thanks.Has anyone investigated the APFS encrypted and WiFi issues on patched USBs? The WiFi is not important to me, but it's an issue and should be mentioned. However, the issue is with APFS encryption is extremely annoying to me because I can't use encryption on my SSD since I won't be able to patch it then.
Encrypted APFS volumes should work just fine, especially if you use the APFS ROM Patch on your system (if it didn't support APFS natively). If the installer for some reason won't install to an encrypted APFS volume, install on a normal APFS volume, and enable FileVault afterwards. You should be able to use Disk Utility to mount APFS encrypted volumes though, and if not, it is a problem with Mojave itself, and NOT my patch.@dosdude1 Maybe you can investigate the APFS issue. Thanks.
It won’t mount them from the USB using Disk Utility or Terminal and this works perfectly fine on supported macs. I have tested this and can test more if you like.Encrypted APFS volumes should work just fine, especially if you use the APFS ROM Patch on your system (if it didn't support APFS natively). This is a very annoying issue because I would like my boot drive to be encrypted.Encrypted APFS volumes should work just fine, especially if you use the APFS ROM Patch on your system (if it didn't support APFS natively). I’m thinking it could be an issue with a driver or perhaps Disk Utility.Encrypted APFS volumes should work just fine, especially if you use the APFS ROM Patch on your system (if it didn't support APFS natively). I understand your frustration from those with working Radeon HD 5/6xxx series GPUs, but please don't restrict these systems from using your patcher. It is not your fault they don't read the compatibility thoroughly enough to know they will have to disable the cards. For people like me who have completely dead cards anyway and have implemented workarounds to use the Intel HD 3000, Mojave runs the same, if not better than High Sierra and I, for one, would like to continue having software updates. It's because of your GPU. I have a Hackintosh with an old Nvidia card, GeFOrce 6200. If I do not set Clover to ”Inject Nvidia”, but let it into Inject Intel”, the os boots up but with a difference. With ”Inject Nvidia” I get, on System Proprieties ”Nvidia GPU 256 mb”, that is the real capacity of the Nvidia GPU. With ”Inject Intel”, on System Proprieties I get ”Nvidia GPU 6 mb”. The Nvidia GPU is way older then the motherboard (Asus) and the CPU (Core 2 Duo). The CPU has on board graphics, but the motherboard does not support it. For some time, I suspect that, actually, Nvidia GPU is disabled and the graphics card act only as connector between the onboard Intel HD and the monitor. I remember I tried, on High Sierra, an AMD GPU. If I let it boot with ”Inject Nvidia”, it boots up ok. If I try to boot with ”Inject ATI”, the crashes into kernel panic and can not boot. Would this suggest that my GPU is, actually, deactivated and Intel HD runs?I understand your frustration from those with working Radeon HD 5/6xxx series GPUs, but please don't restrict these systems from using your patcher. It really comes down to your decision and I'd like to thank you again for your work no matter which side you take. I'm just hoping for a few more years of life from this machine before having to retiring it.
If you have metal it’s great. So how's Mojave doing on everyone's macs? I find it a tad bit slower on graphics performance but otherwise seems ok over high sierra
Hi there, I also have an iMac 27 late 2011, I have been running Mojave since the begining without issues, the only patch I have applied is the video card. you should install or un-install the patches and force the cache rebuild.I was not complaining as if nothing had been said. If I let it sound like this, my apologies.
I knew the problems and I tried it anyway. I just posted to know if I should wait for an improvement in the final version next monaday or if I should downgrade, and if so, what is better to my configuration: Sierra or High Sierra.
I don’t think I can adequately answer your question. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to do Clover injects of any kind on my hackintosh. The last time I had to use it, I had an Nvidia 660 installed and it (Sierra) had no problem with detecting the 2gbs on vram and had full acceleration. Now I have an Nvidia 1060 6gb model in the same machine with High Sierra. Even with Nvidia inject enabled, I have no acceleration and it detects the card as having 6mb of vram. I have to wait for official Nvidia drivers for the system to detect what the card actually is. The system never tries to fall back on the Intel HD graphics, though, so I would guess your system has effectively disabled your gpu to fall back to the Intel integrated graphics and uses the graphics card as a through way to the monitor. With my 1060, it will still output a signal through the card even when the system doesn’t know how to handle it without the driver. I keep gfxstatus installed just to monitor the status of the 1060 and to make sure my laptop isn’t trying to switch to the dead Radeon, but you might be able to use it to see which gpu the system is using to clear things up.I have a Hackintosh with an old Nvidia card, GeFOrce 6200. Are you able to use a Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse when the system wakes from sleep? If yes do you have a link to this dongle? It would be appreciated.I had the same issue with my Late 2009 2.53 ghz after replacing the antennae card. I have an IOGear bluetooth 2 USB adapter on my 1.25 ghz G4 iMac, so I unplugged it and put it in the Mac mini - recognized it right away. So I lost the Edimax WiFi adapter on the Late 2009 Mac mini but replaced it with an IOGear bluetooth adapter.

Thanks, I took a chance and ordered the 4.0 and see what happens. No reviews on Amazon.I use a Logitech K380 keyboard (Bluetooth) and it's stayed connected so far - I restarted just now to answer that question and Bluetooth kicked in right away. I can't see any difference from the original bluetooth. My mouse is a Logitech Anywhere MX with Unifying receiver (not Bluetooth) It's an older IOGear 2.1 USB Bluetooth adapter - it was in a PPC G4 iMac running 10.4 Tiger not really being used and works with MacOS 10.14 - pretty good range of OS versions. I'd check reviews on Amazon, Newegg, Walmart on the IOGear vs. other makers and maybe here on Bluetooth 4 vs. 2.1 - not sure if Bluetooth 4 works with a 2009 Mac mini with original Bluetooth 2.1.
Yeah, I don't think I'll end up doing this, but I may just implement some sort of warning in future versions.I understand your frustration from those with working Radeon HD 5/6xxx series GPUs, but please don't restrict these systems from using your patcher. Is the MacBook Pro 15 mid 2009 (5,3) capable of boot from a APFS SSD without the rom patch or I gotta use it?
Hello, i need some help from you guys...
the machine i'm using is a macbook pro 5,5 (mid 2009) and has high sierra installed (via the unsupported macs patch).
I just followed the instruction on the first page and installed 10.14 on the partition of the 10.13 and when i try to do the post install patch, the model selection box simply show "Select your Mac" instead of dropping down a list of macs. And now my mac is in a bootloop that cannot boot into any systems but only the USB installer.
Really need some help here! Thank you guys
